Rickie is priceless,he has proved himself at this level and to replace him with a proven prem striker would cost a lot more than £6 mill However.. As the lone striker surely he should be on the last man ? So many times this season we have quickly broken on the counter attack only for it to be passed out wide and nothing come of it as defender have got back to cover Is it because he doesn't posses the pace to beat the last man? Is it to hold up play? I know I will get slated but I think on recent performances I would prefer to see J-rod playing through the middle,he has that extra bit of pace needed for the quick counter Don't get me wrong Lambert is a legend but I feel like defenders have him sussed out now I also think you would see a better contribution from Ramirez as he would feed him balls that Rickie would never get

Are style of play got found out pretty quickly

Just shows how much his attitude has changed,a lot of people still thought he was a big time charlie,if that was the case he would of walked at the end of the season hoping a bigger club would come in for him.pleased for him I cant think of a player that has ever shown a bigger U turn in their career ?

I see he has done another pre-game press interview today,it might be my imagination but he has been featured way more than any other player lately with interviews/press conferences ,is it because he has just signed a contract/is a future captain ?? Or am I looking too much into this? why does AL not do a press interview as he is the captain??
