I don't think there is anything in the latest rumours, the Inter chairman is a mouthpiece and would of come out with something by now,the Brazillian press would also be all over this if the Golden Boy of Brazillian football was off to the prem. I would imagine QPR was sold to him on the basis that Arry was bringing in all these players to steer them to safety etc etc, Fernandes seems to be very ambitious as well and with a lot of money behind them I could see the appeal,plus they probably offered double what Newcastle would pay. The rape claim is dodgy ground as we don't know the facts,he could be 100% innocent/guilty but the British always assume the worst so in everyone's eyes he is guilty until proven innocent I reckon anyone that comes to us will instantly be into what we are looking to achieve and will want to play as a team as the team spirit seems great here,motivation at this club doesnt seem like a issue to me

Just out of interest what are you basing that on? It must of been hard to be motivated in the QPR team that was rock bottom of the prem when he joined in January

In a decent team he would be awesome Just because he was average at QPR doesn't mean he is pants,QPR were beyond poor last season and at times he showed serious potential in a team that seemed to of given up by January If I was sure he was not going to get done for rape I would have him here all day long as I think he would be decent for us Unfortunately he is on £70k a week,which may well be out of our reach in terms of wage and that may be the biggest problem of all

Has there been any indication that he wants a move to the prem? Or that he would be willing to join us? It's all very well the club accepting but the player as to accept as well

I know we work quietly behind the scenes but other than the Damiao link we really have heard nothing about anything or anyone,we are not even linked to anyone.i am not panicking but as I have faith in RL & J-Rod but you just feel we need a higher calibre of ST to push us that little bit further than we already are.if we have tried getting Osvaldo and Damiao and they are no gos who is available for us to bring in?

Al this talk of getting another keeper in had me thinking about Cropper,has anyone seen him play? u20 USA keeper so he must be rated to some extent,what are his chances of pushing through into the 1st team at some point in the future??
