I use Coutinho as a example because they are both similar in age,from Seria A,south American and play in the same position. He did hit the ground running and that was fortunate for Liverpool but Gaston pretty much had a whole season to adjust and even though he was good in some games he was pretty crap in others. I am pro Gaston and I would love him to succeed,and I have said on here many times I don't think him nd Rickie gel that well because of Rickes style,a J-Rod or Osvaldo would suit his game someone who will run on the last man to be fed those through balls. All that's missing from his game is consistency

After seeing Coutinho's performance today,there is no reason whatsoever for Gaston to not perform this season,all that settling in bullsh1t is over now he really has to up his game and start performing
