I see what you are saying and I agree with that,but the more I see of Shaw and the more he grows in confidence/becomes experienced I see a lot of attacking coming into his game as well. He has started to try and cut inside with the ball instead of running straight down the line like he did early last season.this may all be part of his development though,you sometimes forget his age when you see him play as he plays well beyond his years. Either way if he carries on as his is we will have a struggle to keep him here once the big boys come a knocking,because Cole & Evra cant have that long left and Man U and Chelsea will have one eye on replacements for those positions

LOL The only way I can see that happening is if SRL,Osvaldo,AL & J-rod have been struck down ill or injured in the last 12 hours. Even so you still have Guly,Ramirez JWP and Davis who I imagine will start ahead of Lee

Do you think at some point Shaw will be converted to a LW like Bale,I know full backs these days play that role but if we could develop the attacking side of his game and he could chip in with goals his value will go up no end.

If WH play like they did against Stoke and we play our normal game we will pass them off the pitch and it should be easy game. It really is ours to lose I just hope we turn up today

I was at the West Ham game on saturday where Stoke completely outplayed them from start to finish,they were so poor it was unbelievable,no movement at all and the wingers Jarvis and Downing just didnt seem to have a clue,Maiga looked scared of Huth and Shawcross. I know the whole no pace thing has been covered but we do really have a lot of attacking players,if you bring pace into the team surely we would be looking at 2 wingers ? then that leaves about 6-7 players fighting for 2 places. LB is also a concern but Shaw is first choice 100% of the time when fit,nobody decent is going to come and warm the bench for him.......however teams will be wise to the fact that Fox is a weak link in our side and will look to attack down the wing and expose him. Ideally we need to look at converting a current squad player to LB or look who is in the academy/u21 etc for the job as Fox is clearly not up to it Even if we wanted to bring in a player you wonder who we could bring in and who would make way

Ozil is far too good for Arsenal Sessegnon to WBA and possibly Lukaku is good bit of business for them

I think we can all agree that Gaston is not that effective on the wing.However a majority believe (myself included) that Gaston would best suit a ST that looks to get in behind the defenders with a bit of pace.putting him out wide is pointless we would be better put a player that is a bit more suited to that position AL or J-rod I would like to see SRL start out wide and swap with Osvaldo like J-rod/SRL did in the last few games of the season. I know JWP has had a good start to the season but we need Osvaldo to get to know the team and settle asap,so for that reason I think he will lose his place for now

J-Rod -- Ramirez--Osvaldo Lambert I can see this happening (with Osvaldo and Lambert swapping )but I am not sure if that looks too attacking,we have all these attacking players but in those positions out wide they need to be able to get back and defend as well. One thing is for sure MP has his work cut out picking a team

Dip in form and he is back in. Cork was solid last season,a injury to MS or VW and he is in.Once he is in it will be hard for them to walk straight back in imo
