When was the last time Gardos played and has Stephens even played prem minutes? JWP is also u21 and he looks out of his depth most weeks. You would be comfortable with a Yosh/ Gardos partnership in a Group stage game for example

Would be nice,but they will be coming here on the understanding we won't guarantee a starting place,that means it won't be a Toby quality player,but a more unknown like Gardos,so if they think he will go un-injured they will stick with him, I still do not have confidence in Yosh or Gardos though to come good I am always the optimist but even I think this is the season everything catches up with us,unless we make 2-3 signings in the next 13 days, which I just can't see happening

I still think Promes would be a decent buy,can play left,right or through the middle, 24 so has a decent sell on value, 18 goals from 30 games last season with 5 assists That would be a Mane replacement imo

Not sure why we would make VVD captain when Fonte is still a current 1st team player. He wants to stay...club wants him to stay (apparently)....fans want him to stay = strip him of the captaincy ???????? how the fookin hell does that work out ? Seems to me like we are trying to force him out thinking we can cash in before he is too old

Whats the point in selling him when you will only get £8m To find a prem ready defender that can come straight in will cost you £15m-£20m if not more,and we all know we won't go above £12m ,the club should be looking at that anyway as we have the biggest season ahead this club has seen and we have VVD & Yoshida as the current 1st choice (currently) Keep Fonte and buy another defender to get through the games,because if VVD or Fonte become injured we are screwed.

Puel doesn't fancy Fonte as a starter??? If Puel thinks Yoshida is better than Fonte,lets get rid of him now (Puel,not Fonte)

JWP and Davis will not offer enough together IMO, one or the other to play with Romeu and PEH
