I see he also mentions he struggled with training when he started at Juve ?? I thought we have double training sessions? he should be as fit as a fiddle,man clearly has class and talent but not the attributes to make it in the prem,which backs up my belief that if you can play in the prem you can play in any league

Has anyone thought that maybe KL has no intention of spending anymore money,she has declared she will give the manager the support he needs but that that is just words,actions will prove her intent and so far all we have done is offload,maybe her intention all along is to sell the club in the summer.

It means that even though we believe we are a club on the up,not everyone believes that,to a international player that may be on our radar we are still a small mid table team in the premier league that has only just made it to the prem from L1,we are a small fish in a big pond and there is much bigger clubs out there that players would favour before joining us. NC was brilliant at selling the Southampton dream to players does our new CEO have that ??? none of us know for sure,also it is WC year players are fighting for there spot and only world class players will be guaranteed a spot,the likes of Astori etc etc will be fighting all the way,will he jeopardise a WC spot to try his luck at Southampton,I very much doubt it

We are probably still not as big as we think,convincing players to come here is probably a lot harder now NC has left b2b WC in a few months. If we don't lose any more players to injury and nobody leaves which to me is the most important thing,then I will be happy enough

Pretty sure that changes nothing,Juve president has gone on record saying they are very keen on Osvaldo and Vucunic will only leave if he asks to leave,does seem fishy as other reports say they have made him train on his own as he was in negotiations with other teams

I have a feeling we won't bring anyone in,starting SG against Arsenal instead of Guly/J-rod up top makes me think that they were testing the water to see if SG was up to the job of leading the line.

Lamela here on loan then please,not been that great at spurs so far but is a quality player,and in the right team will be decent

Jovetic on loan would be quality imo,doesn't get a kick at City and is 4th choice would fit in to the way we play with ease I would imagine.

Arsenal were off the boil big time and we play some good attacking football,they were definitely there for the taking tonight and we should of been 3 up at half time,to say 2 pts dropped is not that crazy to anyone that watched the game

Yoshida is better then Jos other than that we don't have anyone. Did you watch the game? It is plain to see that J-Rod is better out wide and cutting in than playing the lone role,he is a fantastic player but just doesn't do the lone role well
