  1. I would imagine that due to QPR being clueless he is probably on £70k a week plus, something that will probably be beyond us,he will stay at Newcastle I would imagine
  2. Puncheon to score the winner

    Chambers

If you are playing well every week MP will not drop you A lot of you said the same about Cork and now look VW can't get a sniff, some people forget it's a squad not a team I am sure Clyne will get his chance soon enough
  4. RL has a lot to offer, but as the lone striker he should have more mobility to his game We cam move the ball around and attack quick enough but you see a lot of the time we attack out wide and nobody is in the box,by the time he is there so are 4-5 opponents to defend. Maybe he needs to drop into the hole behind a more mobile striker,no doubt about it he can see a pass and can create, but he needs someone to be doing that for him but because of his mobility issues he is never going to be the type of striker that is on the last man looking for that killer ball. We only seem to attack from wide Also those who thought Remy was a waste of time to look in the summer look foolish now,he has had a great season and would be a great addition to us,he looks exactly the type of player we need up front, pity his wages would be the problem
  5. We are always playing a risk with the high line and attacking full backs, any team quick on the counter will know that and will always look to expose that weakness. I am not buying that Plan B is to play plan A properly,to me that sounds a cop out and we have no other ideas Liverpool changed the formation and game approach yesterday because they knew we were one dimensional in our play,we never change the way we play no matter who the opponent and I don't know if that is brave of MP or naive .is it a coincidence that it worked so well for the first 10 or so games when no team could cope with the pressing/high line, now everyone manager can pretty much guess our starting line up/formation days before we play them and can set out there team to counter our tactics, The Hull game was a fantastic result against a very good Hull team, but the other wins were against teams in utter free fall and most teams in the top half should be taking 3pts from The only other game we played well in recently was Arsenal and we really should of won that had we been more clinical,SG was lively and very mobile in that game and I think we can all agree that we looked a lot more fluid and threatening with that extra movement, but we lacked the experience to finish that game off. We are safe but we really need to have more options next season with tactics and players
  6. Hull,Fulham,Cardiff and West Brom are the teams we have beaten in the last 14 or so games 3 of those are in the bottom 4,that is a very poor read and not sure what the form guide says but I would imagine that is relegation form,we are just lucky that we had such a strong start to the season
  7. Just watched MOTD and BR said they practised the 442 diamond all week, pretty much shows that 1.Any decent prem manager now knows how to suss us out and will set his team out to expose this 2. We have no plan B I still can't work out Is MP as good as we think? Are Southampton as good as we think? Is RL good enough for this level or has he been sussed out? The form in the last few months has been very bad,is that down to the tactics or down to the lack of depth and quality ? This summer will be one of the biggest for our club as it will show us the true ambitions of KL,if we don't strengthen with at least 3 class players and lose 1-2 we could be in a heap of trouble next season
  8. He may be the link but in a 4-2-3-1 formation you have to be the playmaker and everything should be going through him,Coutinho,Rooney and Oscar all play that role and all have a decent amount of assists/goals this season. But then saying that you really should have a more mobile striker when playing a lone front man,if nobody is on the last man to run onto then you will look to play it sideways every time Just look at the Second goal today lambert would never be on the last man to receive that ball Suarez did
  9. He has been one of if not the most consistent players this season but for me he doesn't create enough chances/goals for someone playing in that CAM role.
  10. J-Rod doesnt have a footballing brain,he is the forrest gump of football Shaw looked nervous today, The problem we have and it showeed again in todays match was we have no urgency in the final 3rd,when we attacked from wide there was nobody busting a gut to get in the box and by the time someone got in the box Liverpool had at least 5 players back in there. I know it has been said to death on here but not getting in a striker in Jan looks more and more stupid every week
  11. Different Liverpool team this time, they are on the up and have air of confidence about them I prefer Clyne myself for the record, but I can see Chambers getting the nod for this
  12. Liverpool are very quick on the counter, having Clyne further forward and losing the ball could be costly especially if Sterling is on form
  13. Any team news yet, anyone know if Lovren is starting
  14. Goalkeepers: Fraser Forster, Ben Foster, Joe Hart, John Ruddy; Defenders: Leighton Baines, Gary Cahill, Steven Caulker, Ashley Cole, Glen Johnson, Luke Shaw, Chris Smalling, Kyle Walker; Midfielders: Ross Barkley, Michael Carrick, Tom Cleverley, Steven Gerrard, Jordan Henderson, Adam Lallana, Frank Lampard, James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Raheem Sterling, Andros Townsend, Jack Wilshere; Forwards: Jermain Defoe, Rickie Lambert, Jay Rodriguez, Wayne Rooney, Daniel Sturridge, Daniel Welbeck.
  15. France have even left Nasri out,I know he has just come back from injury but still a class player
  16. Who said Wanyama came here to play CL football??? Remember he nearly signed for Cardiff before we signed him,if he had signed for them he would of been close to Champions league, the Championship league
  17. Gaston for me However I feel with the formation we have the CAM (Davis,Gaston) need to be creating chances for the ST,but because of Lamberts mobility we are not creating nowhere near enough for the amount of possession we have. I would have Davis/Lallana out wide with J-rod (I know he is not best suited as lone ST) as the ST with Gaston trying to get those balls through the shaky Liverpool defence. If Mopo is feeling adventurous try McQueen as the winger with AL and J-rod Boruc Clyne Fonte Lovren Shaw Cork Spider AL Gaston Davis/Mcqueen J-rod

  19. By his own admission he couldn't get to grips with the English way,so I don't think he personally would of changed the game. However a more mobile st would have given us a good chance,Davis Cork and Morgan are too defensive IMO we need someone that can create and that is consistent,I said at the back end of last season we need a ST that can play off the last man and get onto those through balls.Lambert for all his other qualities is not the man.
  20. For me Davis is the poor link unfortunately He has been one of our most consistent players all season but he doesn't create enough IMO,get Gaston back in to start attacks drop Lambert and put someone more lively and mobile up top,not getting someone in on loan at least looks more and more stupid every week. We have a bit of pace out wide but seem to be stale through the middle
  21. Looked far more dangerous with Lambert off imo
  22. Only positive is Gaston has looked superb, even though I thought he would get butchered he really has stepped it up today
  23. You see that WH had a shot outside of the box, when was the last time one of players attempted a shot like that?? we just try and walk it in all he time
  24. Get ready for the.............
  25. I rate Gaston, but I don't think WH is the game for him (please prove me wrong)
