I don't get the Wanyama thing,he left a club that was playing CL football and came to us,we achieved our highest ever league position yet now he wants out to Spurs?? who also can't offer CL football and do not look even remotely close to it either,he is a good player but not top 4 player I would say closer to 5th-8th and thats what we are aiming at ...so what is it down to more money??? no doubt the new contract talks would have seen his wage grow considerably. The whole lack of ambition thing is surely not even a factor as we are making progress as a club

On the bright side,we can now focus on the league and hopefully be in the same situation this time next year

Even when we were losing when we came back up to the prem we tried to play football,that was awful,just awful Ronald Koeman is a footballing legend,yet he sent his team out to play long ball ?? Dutch Fat Sam style !! Tadic looked lively when he came on lets hope he can get his fitness back up,if we play with a lone striker we need someone who will play behind that can get close to Pelle for flicks/lay offs etc,JWP is not the answer at all,I get that he is from the academy and all that but he offers nothing,all this set piece crap is annoying,someone please tell me the last time we scored from a set piece from him ?? I usually shout at the TV when we are losing but I just sat there for 90 mins and hardly even batted a eyelid,you could see we were never going to score. Koeman will have to sort this out quickly as we have seen enough of this style already and it clearly doesn't work At least we have Bertrand/Mane/Vic/Clasie to come back

Awful match to watch Fonte by a mile was MOTM,thought Davis and Romeu did well, the need for a creative AM on the pitch is so obvious,JWP is not the answer for that at all. Tadic,Juanmi must be scratching there head as to why they can't get a game ? Also from what I have seen Targett would not be playing at LB yet,Cuco looked more composed and better going forward.

What happened to the possession keeping/passing/high pressure we used to play ?? We just seem to bang it long everytime

I have given up on this for the time being and gone back to liveonlinefooty, I am not sure if I am using it wrong but Kodi is horrific for me,always ends up in slow motion and the website is a bit hit and miss. Won't give up completely but to me it looks like they have got a bit greedy taken on too many and can't cope with the demand,I reckon I had 1 or 2 iffy games last season,nearly every game I have watched in the last 6 weeks has been crap

We may end up with VVD and Koulibaly but they are not here yet,and DiMarzio said yesterday that Napoli are not that keen on selling,why would we flog our best player last season and captain when all that we have left are Yosh and Caulker.....and if Fonte wants to leave in what will be arguably the clubs biggest ever season then he needs his head checked,whoever is bought in will be to partner him not to replace,I would go as far as saying he is irreplaceable at this current time,not just for being a decent CB but the leader/character he is,sometimes no amount of money can replace those things

Fonte was probably asked about him and what he thought about him or another defender being signed,he has given a honest answer,its not like Fonte has called a press conference just to talk about VVD. On the plus side last time Fonte spoke about a player (Cedric) he had signed a few days later

Only said the polish dude because I have no idea on how you spell it....We have been linked with him,and just because his release clause is £22m doesn't mean that's what he is worth/will go for We can all live in hope though
