I think the problem is that a lot of people compare him to how Lambert played,but what they forget is that we had a front 3 of Lambert/J-rod/Lallana,they were very fluid and would cut in a lot lot more and switch more than what are front 3 do know,SRL would often drop out wide and the others come inside and it worked very well,we seem to play a bit more direct through the middle these days,once J-rod is firing and we have a front 3 of J/Pelle/Mane we will start to see great results,if a opposition stick a man or two on Pelle we have nothing to offer. What we need is more of the midfield/attackers to be able to put them away,we can't just rely on Mane/GP to score all the goals,but obviously if RK sticks with 8 defensive players on a pitch we are going to struggle to score goals

As a lone frontman he does his best,you see a lot of the time that the ball is hoofed forward to him he has a big CB on his shoulder and he lays it off,what more can he do at times,but 9/10 nobody is within 20yds of him,we need someone close to feed off him.I feel he is given a rough ride by many on here at times,for things that are beyond his control

For those that say we are moving backwards and are bed wetting already,a win today puts us above Chelsea and Spurs

He really is not that great,he is probably at the right level with us,if he thinks he is at Morgan level then he is ill......in the head. Seems coincidence that this story has come out just around the same time Spurs put out probably the weakest midfield they have had in years. Also Spurs may be interested but there offer would be insulting and even if they met our valuation they would probably ask to pay installments of £20 a week

They finished 4 points above us, they are a bigger club no doubt and they have a bigger transfer/wage budget than us Maybe if we had the kitty they did CL would be a possibility,they bought Loldado and Lamela for close to £60m and they have practically written both off them off,we can't compete with that. I think some people think we are a bigger club than we are and that is probably down to the success we have had in recent years,people saying we have not progressed are nuts,when we have no injuries we have a very strong team,remember we did have Vic,Ryan,Clasie Forster available yesterday,they are all 1st team players who will be available in the coming weeks bar FF To say we are not moving fwd is even more stupid considering we were in league 1 5 years ago

My bad.....however to think we could of held onto him is deluded,he will be the only player to leave us in recent years that will be (if not already) world class,couple of big seasons with UTD then the real big boys will come knocking

Clyne and Morgan had 1 year left on there contract so we were pretty powerless to stop them,we replaced them with Cedric and Romeu/Clasie. Its ok going out getting big names as cover for all these positions but if you are not offering a guaranteed starting place or ridiculous wages why would they come ? You may think we lack ambition but we have a good depth of quality players on the bench,we will add 1 or 2 before the window shuts and once the team has gelled I can't see why we can't be a strong if not stronger than last season
