Anyone else notice in the last 2-3 games JWP seems to of grown some balls and gets proper stuck in now

We all knew we were signing VVD a year before it happened,what I want to know is.....how the hell were we the only team in for him ????????

Good idea.....we would need to sell around 260 million of them to buy someone like VVD

Like Lambert he doesn't rely on pace so as long as he can still bully defenders he still has a few good seasons left in him. To get the best out of him though,those around him need to anticipate the knock down/flick on,many times in the past he has been isolated and left out to dry,we need that CAM close to him,we saw that with Davis yesterday and saw what happened when he played close to him

VVD was a monster,nothing got past him and he won every thing in the air.Davis or Pelle for me as MOM.......would probably pick Pelle as he had 2 assists and the goal

That was one of the best Saints games I have seen for a while,played as a complete unit for 90. Everyone was superb but Davis/Pelle/Cedric/VVD and Mane were too much,Pelle showed how much of a asset he was with his play Happy man tonight

Cedric has been superb today,started off a bit limp but when he got a bit of aggression in his game he has been fantastic

Watching the extended highlights it does look like Juanmi is not 100% match fit,a couple of times we were on the break and he couldn't keep up with Mane and Jay Also has Davis gained a yard of pace? he went on a decent run in that game and looked quick,I remember him doing that in the utd game as well and he looked quicker. Also big up J-rod,he sounds like the most miserable man in football,he could score a hat trick in the world cup final and he would still sound like he has just put down his beloved pet in the post match interview,

So Juanmi gets a chance and fails too impress,maybe he is not our saviour after all. Those at the game,does Gaston look like he has a chance of 1st team football or will he be a lower league cup game player

it's not quite clicked yet for us,I still don't think RK knows his best team,it's clear we have the quality in the team to be winning games it's just getting that right balance to go on a run of games and get us up the table It will come I am sure of it,we just need it sooner rather than later

F Soares is fit and still can't get in the team,Clasie is still unknown,the only positive is Bertand is playing for the U21s tomorrow

Koeman suffering from second season syndrome,seems to be baffling us with tactics each week now,Yoshida at RB was a bad call. On the flip side putting JWP out wide to whip in crosses was a good call. Pelle scored 2 but he comes across as petulant when it's not going his way,seems to lose interest very quickly

JWP having a good game out wide,RK sees the weakness in having Blind at CB and looks like they have been told to whip balls in

Blind at LB so we play Yoshida. ...that is the weak link and we counter that with Yosh
