  1. I went to school in Portchester in the early 80's & deciding to support Saints seemed a stupid idea at the time Plently of rucks at school (Monday after Steve Moran's winner in the FA Cup was a bit hairy !!) with not many 'friends' to back me up. But after all that I don't detest them.....yeah i hope thet lose, i hope they get relegated. Over the years some of my best mates I have made are P*mpey fans .... i play football with loads of them every Saturday. For years I had bragging rights over them but obviously roles have been reversed & I get loads of stick these days . But at the end of the day it's just good fun banter. IMO most of them are a decent bunch....yeah, they hope we lose each week but none of them I have met wanted us to go to the wall in the summer.
  2. I would say that Warsash / Park Gate is deffo returning to the red side of Hampshire. A couple of years back, P*mpey shirts being worn around the area were 50/50 with Saints BUT I very rarely see skate shirts these days, with most kids I see wearing the red & white.
  3. Gotta go to the o2 later this week & was wondering the best route ? I need to go up mid morning so would need to miss central London & thus avoid congestion charge. Mate has suggested M25 then in on the A2 but this seems a long way round. Any advise
  4. http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00186G57M/ref=asc_df_B00186G57M465290/?tag=ciaouk-ce-21&creative=7966&creativeASIN=B00186G57M&linkCode=asn I have this Sony amp & speakers.....amp has a huge array of inputs including 3 HDMI inputs. Sound is crisp & loud. Great value IMO
  5. Understatement of the year....Straw & his cronies are the main reason why the BNP are gaining in popularity
  6. On reflection I thought it was a complete waste of time. I don't for one minute agree with the BNP but to watch 99% of the audience shout down one man was not good viewing. The BBC pick the audience so why pick a biased left wing one ? Surely a few Griffin supporters would have added to the debate:smt062 We all know Griffin's main views BUT would have liked questions fired at him on the his views on the NHS , taxation etc etc
  7. Convinced me more than Jack Straw did.
  8. At the end of the day, it's all good promotion for his book.
  9. He was on Soccer Saturday this weekend.
  10. For brand new ?
  11. Heads up for anyone that has not got the FA cup final win from 1976 on DVD ....£5.99 seems a good price for a bit of history http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/156853/Southampton-v-Manchester-United-1976-FA-Cup-Final/Product.html
  12. There's a difference between a sip & 3 whole fags.
  13. So Corpy, with all your facts to hand, do you honestly think that at this point in time that P*mpey are a better supported club than Saints ?
  14. The suggestion that the kid is addicted is perhaps there.....the person that found the kid smoking commented that when she finished one fag, she asked for another. When the **** refused, she burst out crying ! I agree with DSM, 18 months is not long enough - you would expect longer if he has physically hit the kid, just cause the kid was being damaged inside, whats the difference ?
  15. So statto....where's the evidence of regular attendances of 9k Note to SkateinReading - must try harder.
  16. Another shout for Lapland...again went in December last year. Great fun - kept getting told off for going to fast & trying to overtake the sledge in front
  17. Comedy gold
  18. Going out on the p*ss in Gunwharf tonight (jabs are upto date) Hope to return later after a few beers & a kebab to find a resounding 2 nil win
  19. Of course we all did...we all knew he was using gun -running cash to bank roll you guys
  20. Hope he's got plently of rooms for people to kip in readiness for the game tomorrow
  21. Dave gets my vote.
  22. & that figure includes bring a kid for a quid scheme
  23. Agreed that Man Utd was a decent atmosphere before all seater. They used to have the Utd fans sat right behind the away fans & always remember the whole grand chanting 'Hughsie' - was v.impressive. We always out sung the scousers when playing at Anfield. The roar at St James moments before kick off was impressive, the year I went there when we lost 5-1 (Nicky banger scored for us I think ?) .....mind you they still moaned at every referring decision. Elland Road was always a good atmoshere back in the day.
