I am not aware of any mistakes made by Mark Fry. It seems to me he has stuck in there as far as possible to save the club. he probably could have started to wind affairs up when the initial bid failed

I can't help feeling that this is another false dawn, but it would be great if it happens. Fair play to Mark Fry for brokering this type of deal for us if it is true.

The things that this board have done over the past few years have been dispicable but that is not what shapes the club or its fans. I have been a proud Saints fan for over 40 years now and I was born in the City. It is the the people that follow Saints, the friends I constantly make through being a Saints fan and the fact that I can take my young son to the stadium to watch in the knowledge that we will be safe amongst a group of people that know how to behave that shapes this club. We are not cheaters, maybe the board are but there is little we as fans can do about that. Do not abandon this club because of their selfish actions. Stand up. Be proud. This may yet be the greatest escape this club has ever made. Forever Red and White. More now than ever

In this midst of all the gloom and dispair at the club the man has nailed his colours to the mast and stated his intention to stay. Fair play to him ... a decent player if we can keep him... Positivity from now on !!! I am sick of the gloom

I don't think that JP has much to do with this mess the club is in. Given a decent chance he may well do OK and in light of the fact we aren't going to attarct the attentions of Jose Morinio I think we had just as well give JP some support, especially at home.

I have to say that on the basis of this season it would be hard to deny KD
