One way to tell if a point of view is meaningless is if no one would ever argue the opposite point. For example, if a politician says 'we will be tough on crime' it is a meaningless statement because no politician would ever argue that they would be weak on crime. Marching against war or government cuts is a way of showing solidarity towards a political cause that has two points of view: "Look how many of us are against the war" is a statement worth making. Marching 'against' rape, however, is a complete waste of everyone's time because no one would ever march in favour of rape.

Several good points. Especially the one about him being called Kadeem Hardison.

I am much more offensive than Deppo. I even call Boj names. Boj, you are a moron. -

Is it worth having a 'Favourite Deppo post' competition on here now? We have all talked about how funny he is, but no one has actually given any examples.
-
If there is a 'reinstate Deppo' banner at the first home game of the season then I will die happy.

This is a Low. They also have some cracking B sides. I don't know any other band, except maybe Radiohead, that have B sides that are better than most A-Sides of other indie-rock bands. I am a big Blur fan. If you are interested in listening to their more obscure music, listen to these: All Your Life Dont Be Morricone Some Glad Morning The Outsider* *Especially excellent.

Says it all. Anyone ever read The Long Walk? Hypo reminds me of Barkovich; an outspoken, deeply unpopular bore motivated solely in the hope of dancing on a lot of graves.
-
Hypo reall is dull, isn't he? If nothing else has been learned, at least we can now all agree on that.

Best post so far. Perfectly put.

This forum succeeds because of the members. Boj sems to think it succeeds because of him and only him. How many times has dune been banned anyway? The 2-bannings-equals-life rule obviously is another example of rules applying or not applying based on the whim of the person dishing them out.

You must be joking. With these jokers in charge (and not in the funny, Deppo way) I have given up hope of ever seeing it again.
-
Because Boj would rather run a sh*it forum and is determined to make it sh*tter by the day

Ryan Giggs final gets the anonymity he craves

Agreed. But how many salient contributions has Dubai Phil has made since November 2006? Lets ask our independent adjudicator: I think he is being a little generous there. -
I don't understand, it is true. Because it is stupid.

It is a shame, but at least we still have freedom of expression:

I have been the first on scene lots of times, because of circumstance and because of my job, but only once has someone died when I was there. My gf and I were driving along the M5 really late at night. As we were going along the carriageway, we saw another car on the other carriageway, unbelievably, sat in the fast lane not moving and on fire. We pulled over to the hard shoulder and I called the fire brigade. I saw a shape in the seat but I was too far away from him and the fire had caught hold pretty strong by then to do anything. Unbelievably, all this time another car didn't come along either carriageway until the fire brigade showed up, and by then the car had exploded. It was surreal, being on a motorway with no one else around, with another car on fire. I had forgotten all about it, in fact, until reading this thread. All the others are me calling for an ambulance because people have had seizures, or because of street or pub fights. I have seen a few car crashes but often there are loads of other people around so I don't stop. I saw a motorcycle crash last summer which was pretty horrible, the guy was wearing a basketball t shirt so he was all grazed to hell. Although I wasn't the closest I got their first because no one else moved, not even the driver and passenger in the car that hit him, which I thought was terrible. I got first aid trained last year but I feel no better prepared to help anyone. In the times I have been in first aid situations since I always panic and forget everything and just call the ambulance immediately anyway.

I think that you kidnapped Madeline. Now, I have absolutely no proof that you did. None at all. I have never met you. I know nothing about you. I have not spoken to you in person. I am not a detective, and I have no inside information on the case. However, there is something fishy about you that I can't put my finger on. It is for this reason, and this reason alone, that I am making this unfounded accusation that sadoldgit is a child kidnapper and child killer on a public forum for anyone to see.

First thing I have agreed with on this thread. With the horiffic Bin Laden thread and this, in two news topics you have demonstrated yourself as snivilling judegmental, blood-thirsty morons. The obsession with the McCann story is just as blood-thirsty. To you its all just entertainment, with a little bit of self-rightous scorn thrown in on top. What right any one of you has to judge this woman I don't know. Though she has had to pay for her mistake time and time again and will do for the rest of her life, I doubt your pathetic little opinions would matter one iota, even if she did read this.
