Someone comes on here and starts an unsubstatiated rumour about a former player, and a heated debate begins. Baird will never ever ever come back. Everyone who has argued on this thread is an idiot. But especially delldays, who seems to out-idiot everyone consistently) If I had a full account, I would just start a thread called 'Wayne Bridge says he is coming back' or maybe Barry Venison or Walcott, and I am sure it would get the same ludicrous response from you lot.

I am talking about our loyalty to him, not the other way around. He isn't even being sacked for being a rubbish manager. he is being sacked in the close season because as we now have a bit of money we think he is beneath us. This level of arrogance is worrying.

i dont see how we can praise Davis on his loyalty one minute, and celebrate getting rid of a guy like Wotte the next. Loyalty should work both ways. I think he has been treated rather disgracefully.

I met lots of pompey fans who were worried about our plight at saints and wished us all the best with the takeover. Pompey are in trouble and need a cash injection just like us, so, if you don't mind, i wont be gloating.

I would like to see him play for us in League 1 this season. Because, if I do, it will mean that we are still in business.
