Don’t think attendances are the result of VAR, I believe there have been longer decisions than 2.57. What I am saying is that if you think it will solve all of the referee decision problems it is my opinion you are mistaken.

We have it in the A league in Australia. We still seem to have as many controversial decisions, lots of incidents are not clear cut even with a myriad of camera angles. Decisions have taken as long as 5 minutes once they decide on a review with the game being stopped and everyone waiting. My guess is we will have similar discussions and rants about VAR as we do referees.

I believe we lack a leader on the pitch, Lallana is fine when things are going well, however on bad days or when things aren't going according to plan we seem to miss a motivator and organiser. The only problem is that I don't think there is any one who is better equipped within the current squad.

It's funny how things work out, the old man also took me to see the lot down the road, I think they played Carlisle. 48 (old enough to know better). Live in Northam Western Australia. Used to live in Fareham First game 72 or 73, before we came to oz. Saw two games the same season think it was ManU and West Ham, I am sure the old man took me to see the opposition. Only other time I saw Saints play live was Jan 81 third round of the cup v Bristol Rovers I think. Never been to an away game Have managed to convert the oldest son but the youngest escaped.

What about being able to buy a virtual ticket. I and may other fans live overseas with no chance of getting to a game but it would be nice to be a part of doing something for the club on matchday. These could also be added to the "official attendance" figure
