    BT Sport:

Cities constant (maybe occasional) diving annoyed me. More needs to be said about it from the Punidiots.

Agree absolutely. And is there a Liverpool mafia of ex players going on. BT, BBC.. I'd rather listen to Ken Dodd talking football than all those clowns put together.
  3. Genießen Sie solange sie es können
  4. I'd go with that.
  5. Nah, sorry, still don't get it. This is football we are talking about? I must be odd because I really don't respect or admire manu.
  6. What's all that got to do with the price of cheese? I'm chuffed as nuts when they lose. They've been at the top to long and it's good to see them fall.
  7. Hopefully you've missed the point of the thread!
  8. I think it's a pesticide by under EU Regs.
  9. If they hadn't built Chelsea village they could have expanded their stadium which would have been of far better benefit and value to the club.
  10. Definitely the final. The Sunderland game is now in my memories for all the wrong reasons. That's the beauty of the cup I suppose!
  11. Their policy with players has some similarities to that with managers. They have sacked managers year on year and been very successful. Certainly is a financial reason for all the loanees and probably excentuated by the FFP. They have a ready replacement to Czech in Courtois and perhaps Lukaku in a yr or two will be in the first team. Both either being worth shed loads or saving transfer fees on replacements. Just very good business. It's the football equivalent of compound interest (well, maybe there is some spurious connection).
  12. Definitely not a single Palace player.
  13. As a fan, why be interested in taking money for a player? I want him to stay...
  14. Absolutely. It was one of those games that had a very different feel to it and we came through winners from a real battle. I could only get tickets in the Palarse part of the AW stand and man are they noisy, most of them don't even watch the game just chant at each other. But to be honest they are sh*t so fair play, why watch that each week. Also, they thought Howard Webb gave us everything, which I thought was the reverse (With the exception of the Lovren yellow perhaps).

    Pensions

Yes, and isn't NEST 1% and 2% so even after 30 or 40 yrs of paying in it wont be worth a beer and a burger night in Wetherspoons.
  16. Exactly, why not. Are they much better than us? no. So why not?
  17. He's a breath of fresh air as an England player. Again we have produced a player worth the admission fee alone. And has become a very good captain, seems more vocal.
  18. I thought he was immense protecting the back four. Today was a battle against a poor and ugly but very direct and physical team. Wanyama was every bit as influential in the win as anyone. Loved it when he was put under pressure with a throw out by Boruc just outside the 18 yd box. He coped with it and released Shaw I think, and then gave Boruc the thumbs up. To me this is the reason why we are a good side, we take risks and want to play the ball. Total opposite to Palace, who are all effort but woefull.
  19. Excuse my ignorance, but what is now the structure for example the academy players and reserves playing competitively. Is it simply the U21 etc play the U21 in the respective league they are in etc.
  20. Swansea have some decent players, Michu, Worm in goal, Britton and Shelvey. Maybe Michu and Worm would complement us.
  21. Agree. The report goes on about saints having to much possession on the flanks... So, if we were to consider ourselves as a high pressing team then the full backs would need to be attacking, which they are. This has now become a predictible tactic and nullified and when the inside ball to Lallana is cut out as happened in the second half against Liverpool, we become all possession and no product. Talking about stats. Clyne 4 assists and 1 goal Chambers 0 assists and 0 goals. My opinion is that Clyne should get the nod and if he had been the main right back all year he probably would have gone to Brazil.
  22. Have to agree with this, where better can he apply his footballing philosophy than at a club with an abundance of young talent. That talent has been there for many yrs and was not the product of Cortese.
  23. Loved watching the second half. Lallana and Shaw are just very good players and they stand out. Although I really like Sterling and should definitely go to Brazil, I'd play him as an impact sub. Tends to run with the ball then cut back and pass when he could have made the pass initially. This type of play will be bread and butter for the better teams.
  24. Has Cleverley just laid a cable?
