Ok, no real recommendation but Gaston had many opportunities and fell short whereas Mayuka has had limited opportunities. I think he is a great manager. Got Palace to 11th, and they were doomed before he came, and to be honest a poor team. He had to adapt his management style to incorporate their wingers. He definitely can do a job with all types of players and is not a limited manager. Palace will be relegated without him.

all teams need a bit of pace up front. Long will complement other players. Everton don't have the players we do so the comparison loses meaning.

Yes, totally agree England can't play football. We seem to have 11 players who are so disconnected to each other its untrue. It might help though if we picked players who are actually good on the ball and move it and link up well. Shocking display that at my age leaves me feeling empty and depressed. This is England.
