I like it. As with football I hate losing, and its strange that a board game can give you that desire and passion to win when many things in life can't. To improve you should buy a computer game (not on the computer but an actual electronic game). You can play various levels or replay old masters games. Hope I'm not alone in this sad thread!!!

If you are to press the opposition high up the pitch then I think the formation is probably 4-2-3-1. Saints have always been susceptible to the long punt up field so this would be a worry. And I also think that the lone 1, which being Lambert our talisman, is a bigger worry. He cannot play this role. A better example of this type of football rather than Spanish is Germany and Borussia Dortmand. Their lone front man is Lewandowski who is very mobile and puts pressure on the back four. Hopefully he will be a manager to get the best out of the fairly good squad we have and not ***** about with things to much too early.

It's a tricky one, what would affect the team more a kids banner or Puncheon needing a clear out during the game!! Personally I think Corteses parker coat should have been banned.

Hard to fault that performance, only a goal was missing. We closed them down all over the pitch and broke at pace often. Gully was a great example of this in the first half, he never stopped putting pressure on the ball. Morgan was immense but Corke is also such a composed player, they are great together.

His background is finance not football. What he has done at this point of the season is madness. There was every chance NA would keep us in the premiership, which is all that is needed. This new appointment should never have happened at this time of the season and any football person would think the same. imo.

The position in the team of Sir Rickie is a worry. Raeding about MP he likes to play from the back, use the full width of the pitch and close the oposition down high up the pitch. Not one of Rickies strong points. But without him playing we are a lessor team.

Agree with this. Very strange sacking but anybody who doesn't get behind the team and the new manager is just plain wrong only wanting relegation to be proven right in their views. As you say he has a similar vision so as a club we are not reverting back to calls for the likes of Redknob or Alladyce. The football will remain good. COYR.

The timing is very odd. I strongly feel NA was the man to keep us in the premiership this year, the team have really started to look good and well organised. This appointment is basically gambling with our premiership status and should not have been made now.

Great performance. Introduction of Lambert was key, what a brilliant player he is. We really are improving all the time and have some top class talent in the team. Sat in the Chelsea west stand and had to listen to over confident rants and absolute garbage for 90 mins. Feel top of the world with that result.
