I've not really got an 'argument', to be fair. Just saying there's no Brexit plan so it's ok not to have a remain plan is a bit disappointing. I was genuinely hoping you would be able to point to something that's says ..we are the EU, this is what we are going to do. Short, medium and long term. Then I can weigh that up against the pro's and con's of Brexits sovereignty stance. Simple high level stuff, like the EU will invest in the UK car/manufacturing/service industries to increase our global competitiveness . Maybe the EU are going improve the UK infrastructure or health service. How about a policy aimed at poverty or workers rights. There must be something that the EU stands for? Stuff that it hasn't done yet, but it want to do. Honestly, I'm not trying to pick a fight but you can't point and laugh at thickie brexiteers without at least being able to offer them an alternative. Even if it's, no change here, as you were. So no plan then? No long, medium or short term plan for our future in the EU? What were people voting for? Both sides had no plan. Brexit had goals, and Remain had rights and obligations but not a plan to be seen! Could you argue that after brexit, after the short term uncertainty, we have a better chance of having a plan that reflects our interests as a nation rather than as part of a disparate collective of nations? Just for complicity, could you do the same analysis of the remain plan? Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

Aren't you moving to Canada. I think they import food from America, including......chlorinated chicken.

It's amazing how much your desire to belittle people trumps your own self awareness. Maybe take a little time to try and see what's being written before jumping in next time, and you might not look so stupid so often. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

We'll win by 2 goals. Going to be a great season, looking forward to it! Not sure I'd bother if I were like a lot of you with your negativity. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

Two games against Chelsea, which is more important?
stug76 replied to OttawaSaint's topic in The Saints
Yeah, you could put it that way! We sacrifice this cup run to stay in the league so that we have a chance of other cup runs or we take the cup run now and go down and reduce our cup run chances massively for an unspecified length of time. There won't be another Markus and fairy tale rise through the league if we go down. -

Has to be league. 100%. Going down could mean being out of the top flight for a generation. Chances of another cup run almost disappear. Stay up and we have a better chance of having more cup runs. No guarantees, but despite a recent blip we are a well run club, with a good fan base, good facilities and potential to establish ourselves as one of the teams just behind the big boys . You only have to look the likes of Leeds, Wednesday, Sunderland etc to see what can happen when you drop out of the premier league. Real football my arse, years of being an also ran in the championship sounds awful to me. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk -
I have a very similar Brendan Rogers type theory. The gamble is that we stay up.

So it was either a $30m winger or the fans panel was it? Think we've got a new head of ITK.

This post should get a prize! Just back from the game, strange playing 5/3 at the back, didn't work at all. Having said that if we had Cedric and Bertrand on the pitch i think we win that match. Not many plusses - Bednarek seemed to grow into the game after a shaky start. Yoshida and Stephens were ok but with the full backs hugging the touchline and the widemen being out there too there was nobody as an outlet for the centre mids. We didnt move the ball quickly enough to get the width and when we did we didnt use it well enough. Manager gets the blame for this one, but need to cut him some slack, it's early days yet. If the free kick for Nobles challenge went against us - can we assume the ref didn't see it? If so, is there a chance that it might get looked at retrospectively? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Cheers. Ordered the Allardyce book. Seemed to tick the most boxes.

Anyone got any recommendations for football/sports autobiographies? It's for my son, 15yrs. Nothing too deep, something easy going preferably from someone a 15 year old would know. He has read and enjoyed Rio Ferdinands and Howard Webbs book, so keen to keep him interested. Cheers

So, if Puels replacement comes in next year, we finish in 8th/9th/10th, don't make it to a cup final and have a reasonable run of injuries and don't have the distraction of Europe will we have a 'Who would you replace Puels replacement with?' thread next year? What will be the minimum expectation to avoid this thread every year?

Good to see that the team are going to play well and create loads of chances. #Puelout? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
