I have been around this form long enough to know exactly what you mean, except "the forum" doesn't have an opinion and it didn't make the statements or claims that you say it did . You make this **** up and make your counter claims to make yourself look good. I don't know why you do it, do you? Who said it would be easy? It's possible, I would say that the investment in infrastructure would make it more likely to happen than if we hadn't invested in our infrastructure but I don't think anyone said it was "easy". Are you making things up again?

I didn't say that I "expect" it to happen, and that it was the "gateway to glory and non stop success thereafter", only that it would represent progress. I mocked you because you made up a statement, as is your way, stating that people had said that finishing 4th would be a gateway to glory and non stop success thereafter, when in fact nobody had said that. You then mocked people for saying it, when it was you that had made it up. It's what you do, you mock the "mongoard" as you so charmingly call it by generalising about some sort of group consencous that doesn't exist and then mocking it in an attempt, presumably, to make yourself feel better?

I would say that consistency at that level, and cup success would represent progressing from a one season in 4th. I guess if you could achieve that for a few years you'd be looking at trying to win the league and a run in the CL. It's all hypothetical, as per the ops question.

Got to be 4th. What a cracking season that would be, and what an achievement. Also, as pointed out above, it would suggest that we are moving to another level, lots more money in the CL, probably a better choice of player available to us.

I don't think that people "believe" would consider god to be an abstract concept. I wouldn't suggest that we have worked it all out, that we know everything but, I think that we know enough to say that the god, or gods of the religions that are practiced don't exist. Now, if there is something out there, a "higher" being if you like, and I could buy into that, then it doesn't or wont exist along the lines of our gods, or the Greek gods, or Roman gods etc. I've come to the conclusion now, that I question the judgement of anyone who is religious. The quicker that religion disappears, the better as far as I'm concerned.
