Transfer deadline day thread (Summer 2013)

Couldn't agree more. -
Jesus Christ! Did you have this thread prepped and ready to go?

Right, I've just watched S1E1 of Breaking Bad, really enjoyed it. A good combination of humour, plot and intensity I thought, certainly better than Top Boy which I watched over the weekend. So here's what I want to know, I know it's excellently reviewed and I'm keen to watch it but is it going to peter out by S4 and then end with some bizarre twist that defies all previous plot and logic? I lost an awful lot of time watching Lost and I don't want it to happen again.

How do you feed these beasts? I was in Currry's this evening and saw the Sony display and it looked very sharp. Presumably you'd have to upgrade your DVD player to get any use out of it though? Are there any 4D XL tv feeds?

Sounds good. Where would he fit in? We would have some ridiculous options going forward.

Unhealthy obsession with Southampton Football Club

 You are not alone, there are plenty of people with this condition. -
Good luck Shroppie!

Is this the best you can do? Like everything Saints in the NC era, I would expect progression this year and our home performances will improve. We are stronger defensively, and that should make us less vulnerable to the smash and grab defeat from those teams who sit deep and hope to pick us off on the break. Only time will tell, of course, but on another day we probably should have beat Sunderland with the chances that we created. When Osvaldo settles, I'm sure we will be in a better position to break down these teams.

Post Match Reaction & MotM: SAINTS 1-1 Sunderland
stug76 replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
2 games 4 points - great start to the season. Could have had more, created some good chances on another day we might have won this one. Lallana looked good i thought, JWP was excellent, I like the look of Osvaldo too. Going into the game I thought that we would win but all things considered it's still a good day to be a Saints fan! I'll enjoy my beer tonight. -
3-0 coyr.

Heres the thing Turkish, like a lot of people, I use this form as a source of information about saints. Recently you have to shovel through so much **** to get to the real info. Almost all your posts include some sort of ****. I can live with the likes of Glasgow, Barry and Alpine because in the main even though they are annoying they talk football. You can't help yourself but to "play the man " and try to assume some sort of superiority over the "mongboard" like some arbitor of reason or knowledge. So when I see you being a ****, I call you up on it. Unlike many others, I don't think the way to deal with trolls, which you readily admit to being, is to ignore them, better to call them up on it and show them for what they are. The fact that more and more people are doing this now must tell you something? Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 4

Oh the irony! Give it up Turkish. Stick to the football which you do seem to have a decent grasp of and ditch all the other **** and you might find that you don't have to consistently defend yourself.

If you could relive one footballing moment, what would it be?

Le Tiss, last goal at the Dell. -
There's a big difference between those who are at least trying to be funny and those who constantly snipe and are argumentative and rude. Not sure which one you are
-
The problem is where to draw the line between WUM/troll and a poster that sticks to their opinion and albiet not a popular one. As an example - Apline seems to upset a few round here and I'd imagine that he's on quite a few peoples ignore list, but I wouldn't consider him a troll/wum he's just negative.

Who is to blame for the Summer of inactivity?
stug76 replied to Unbelievable Jeff's topic in The Saints
Whoops! So Jeff, is this a new identity? Have you been here before? -
Agree with this, I think the concept of individual targets and collective targets are being confused.
-
You are going to have to help me, I have no idea what "facious targets" might be.
