having been away from the homestead for some time...I remember SouthernTV and TVS doing a great job. It is possible to watch Meridian on ITV HD if i can be bothered , but allI get is Fred Skate -age turning more and more orange...in glorious HD no less.... Meridian seems a poor relative to previous independent south coast broadcasters. -
Top 5 players FROM Southampton (or close by)

Hmm not sure that Roberts should be in the top 3.... unless it is just for the Spurs line.... Bridge played for England/scored in European cup semi final, doesnt that beat appearances...just a thought! -
Anyone know did Billy kiss the badge?

More importantly "Fortress St Marys" has lost its shine. Teams are no longer scared to travel doen here... we need to get this winning mentality back..forget the cup by all means,, but get that mentality back...quick!!! -

My friend's husband worked extensively for EA on this game out of Austin Texas. She says that there were times that she rarely saw him as he was working on the project noon and night.

Can hide the fact that i am worried..... big games coming up.. all 6 pointers.... hoping all of our crocks recover soon and we bolster the squad..In saints we trust!

the frustration.. miss passing.. diving in.... long ball...you can taste the nerves at SMS tonight

I seriously doubt that anything will happen tp PFC that will mean liquidation. NO ONE will have the guts to pull the plug, simply because there are so many other football clubs close to be insolvent that it would bring down the whole english football system. For that reason they will continue to bail clubs out and give them more time.... our nations economic failings in one very short and smelly lesson!!
-
well i have been watching the tv stream for the last 3 mins of the game and we could have scored 5!!! in that 3 minutes

...a Rochdale girl.

A bit of Guly magic due right now please!
-
Aim for 91pts which would have guaranteed any team promotion in the last 7 seasons.... not quite half way yet.

When we pass it well.. ie: Derby game we are better than anyone. I thought Adam would have provided that element of poise, creativity and craft that would have taken us over the line at Deby well before half time. But I think 7/10 we could beat most teams in this divison without AL as long as we play the possession stuff that we are becoming well known for. BUt it is true we need depth and not just for Adam but fr RIckie and CBs too!!

Generally agree with range of posters. I also sat with Derby fans who after they scored watched us take full control of the game - they could not get a touch. When they did get possession we robbed them often in the first half. Guly and Cork ran the show in first half although Guly was a bit elaborate. if we had been a bit more incisive we would have gone in ahead at half time. listening to Ram fans at half time... many were fearing the worst and thought it was only a matter of time before we scored. My derby friend and ticket provider was fairly representative of those whose were impressed by our composure. if Ricky had put away a second in a carbon copy to his first I think we would have gone on to score a few more. As it was the subs for saints took the sting out of our game. I thought Chaplow played well in the first half and did a job of spoiling anything derby tried to create. De Ridder did not prove a worthy substitute for Guly and Hammond added nothing either. harding arrived to late in the game to make any impact. Lambert won more than his fair share of high balls and Connolly did a fine job of holding things up for us.. Fonte and the dutchman, once they settled looked assured but in the first 5 minutes looked very shaky. Their goal was a poachers follow up goal. Radio derby report that the Ref would have awarded them a penalty if they had not scored for a foul on davis. In the later stages the game was more open and both teams missed guilt chances and open goals.... if I am not mistaken...one clear saints chance was blocked by one of our own players. i will look closely on FL Show on BBC tonight. overall a very good performance..... pleased with the point, had the scent of 3pts for long parts of the game despite being behind for so long. Always thought we would score. No sign or scent of any smelly rams in my seating block!

I have this down as a 2-2 draw. question is will we be complaining of a point dropped or thankfull for a point gained? Time will tell. I am going but will have to sit with Derby fans as workmate is a season ticket holder and could only get me a ticket in thier end. Wish me luck!
-
I stand corrected..
-
Ok am going... friend is a Derby fan has got me a free ticket...but I have to be quiet...What are my chances??? He is begging me to keep schtum this time as the last time he took me to Pride Park I screamed at the top of my voice when saints scored.... pele's half way line 90th minute equalizer...well who would blame me? Got away with nothing more than a look... they knew we were at least worthy of a draw that day. Ps: was the match Harry got sent off to the stands!!!
