There I was enjoying a calm afternoon listening to the footy.... and now this!!
-
I bought mine online last wednesday.... not here yet, but with the easter collections from the PO I am not worried yet.
-
we can't get the ball!!!
-
Where is the midfield...too many gaps!
-
Forget this game..Barnsley are very poor indeed so nothing to spend time over...
-
We all spend so much time saying that we are not a one man team... then look at the response to lambert being injured... people are in danger of losing sight of what is at stake for the remaining 6 games. Stop! Now start thinking of the team, take away this need for a talisman, because when it happens, and the "Talisman" in not available, theres the danger that too mant people will start believing that we have no Plan B... and we do, and a Plan C and probably more. We have players other than Lambert who have scored more goals in this league this season than many other teams top scorers. So have faith in Sharp, Guly, Lallana and in the background Barnard. The team will come together to collect the required points to gain promotion and grind away at enough performances to gain promotion. It was never going to be easy, but with just one more push saints will make it over the line back to the premiership. We must be positive and rely on the TEAM.

Similar to the above post I bought 2 tickets last night. I hold a club number as part of a past membership scheme, which I still regularly use to log on for tickets. No problems..all paid for..just waiting now. It could be a special night!!

We have just lost our first game in the last 12. We stand top of the table 2 points ahead of 2nd and SIX points ahead of 3rd. Naturally no one wants to lose in the fashion we did on Saturday, but we must all keep calm. Whether SRL is fit enough to end the season or not, should not get in the way of the job in hand; 12 points from 6 games, maybe less if WHU drop points. I think it is quite natural to be nervous as a fan at this stage, but lets be grateful we are in the position that we find ourselves in. I suggest we get this Blackpool game out of our system now and get behind the team no matter who plays and encourage, cheer, clap and sing for the wonderful red and white of Southampton FC. We dare to believe, lets not stop now, just when it begins to get interesting. No rolling over here. Onwards.....!!

Were you as embarassed as me by yesterday ?
gjphilsaint replied to Raven on the wing's topic in The Saints
Embarassed? No! Relieved it was only 3 against Blackpool and to be honest I am desperate for Saturday to come so that we can rid ourselves of the horrible taste left by this defeat and then get back to the business of securing the necessary points required to make our return to the prem assured. Saturday cannot come quick enough! -
By the way IF we had had the March that WHU have just experienced and they had achieved the results we managed instead.. then WHU would be top on 77,then Reading on 76 then us on 73. Worth remembering!!
-
When I looked at the March fixtures I was concerned that this month might be a real test, we were a point ahead of WHU who had a game in hand. We took 16 out of a possible 21 points this month. I was always worried about the Blackpool game, but on reflection it has been a good month. No one could legislate for Reading's great run (19pts out of 24), but at the same time, pleased with the poor form of West Ham over the same time (11 pts out of 24). So... still ours to win. Six points ahead of 3rd all on the same number of games.

I intend to get 2 so hoping they are on sale on Monday! Friend who lives in Pbro is sure they will be a pay on the day option.

top one is venus lower one is jupiter. Both in the western sky. Mars can be seen in the east, a less radiant planet but distinctively red. It is easier to distinguish these from the stars because all 3 are visible in the sky long before dusk, whilst constellations are only really visible in the dark sky.

well who ever plays in the play offs it is going to be tough. I wonder at what stage the 3rd place team will start to concentrate on having their players fit for the play offs...risky decisions ahead. lets hope WHU struggle at every opportunity. I would be very interested to see what happens to that squad next year if they do not go up. my money is on Birmingham going up as play off winners....assuming we go up automatically (which i think we will).

Donny will be a good test for us today!!
-
Getting up to the prem was never going to be easy..... and if we had been told we would be in this position this time last year.... I would imagine everyone here would have taken that!
-
One goal at a time everyone!

The last time any tv station did a big interview with SRL (Sky) didnt he get sent off..v Brighton?

DiV plus Converter does the job for me. You can get a trial version but it doesnt last long, but is probably the best solution if it is a one off. However, if you intend to do these conversions on a regular basis (and i would image that you will), then i am afriad you may need to buy it. Of course there may be other software that does this job..but i dont know anything about that!
