You can only play against the team infront of you. Would have taken a good preformance(s) against WBA, Fulham or Wigan surely?

Yes thats right we are in a pickle and we are going to sack a football MANAGER and replace him with someone who HAS NEVER BEEN a football manager! Its the Kevin Keegan factor all over again. No, no, no, please keep our existing football MANAGER. In Nigel I 100% trust. -
Summary of Nigel's Post-Match interview after Leeds
gjphilsaint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Is it the defeats or the nature of the defeats that bother us all? Many (including me) understood the awful fixture list at the start of the season, but we lost playing well, making a game of it. If saints continue to play in a manner that is now beginning to typify us: West Ham, 1st half Spurs, Leeds, then I cant see how anyone would be happy for things to remain as they are. So.. we need performances and of course a few results to go our way, ugly wins to get some pressure off of the Club. But.. I like NA, he deserves the chance to manage our club the way he has always tried... we will look back at this stage in our history and pinpoint the transfer activity (NA or NC responsibility) and the error of NOT building on our successes of the last few seasons by building from the back to ultimately be the cause of our current situation. This club must be built on stability and starting (once again) to chop and change managers is in my opinion NOT the way to go. NA must be given the chance to get Saints out of the bottom 3 and keep them out for the end of the season. Then we can start to look forward again. The Saints are going up...the table! -
Rodallega enough said.. Wigan all over again!l

sadly with those full backs it looks like saints ar once again are there for the taking...
-
The media hype about our start has been nothing short of appalling..talk about needing to fill columns! Also ill placed negative speculation over NAs job has been disgraceful. NOW we have stated our intentions... we are NOT a team for the taking....

First target... pass 11 points...

Played 3 of toughest games possible (includes Man C & Arsenal AWAY) the result that bothers me is the Wigan game. We know that top teams games are binuses if we collect anything at all.. but Wigan are in the same mind set as Stoke, Fulham, QPR, Norwich, Aston Villa,WBA, Sunderland & Swansea... and we would be expecting at least a 50% return from those games... so add to that how Reading & WHU do in comparison and that is our season in a nutshell. I look at the likes of Stoke (fortress team ) WBA (flair but unpredictable) Wigan (well we know now how well drilled they were), Fulham (bought well up front - will trouble us), Swansea (will the flair of the great start continue), QPR (plenty of shrewd buys and a manager who knows how to graft), Sunderland (good manager- buuilding a stronger squad)... leaves Villa and Norwich... and what about us... leaky defence... GK apparently out of his depth (again).. lets see how the new boys make their impact.... Seems like this season is going to be a very hard one.... what would be the impact of a Villa loss???

Strangely enough he has been tweeting since lunchtime that he signed. I am suprised that the press has only just released this one! Good luck to the lad! -

I have this and would welcome an update... beginning to sound like the Hitchhikers Guide to Southampton FC "Mostly harmless"! Thanks Duncan et al. -
Not the best way to put the club in the shopping window is it? Imagine what Ollie @Bpool must be whispering into Ince/Phillips' ears tonight! Also IF Ramierez is on his way.. I should imagine that any advantage that NC had with bargaining will be evaporating by the second as we are creating an image of desperation.... "5 or 6 players needed"?

Am I right in thinking that it is possible to reduce ticket prices or let kids go free to ensure a full stadium in FM12. If so can anyone enlighten me? Thanks
-
because the whole saga is a Trolls paradise.
-
Never used twitter until Ramierz came along... will he and I live to regret it?

Personally I think most of these agents and reporters are taking us for a ride. Pawns in the game. Sad.
