My view: 8th is a great finishing position and we cannot do worse than that. 7th would be greater, 6th greater still, 5th greater greater still still Win at the weekend please guarantees 7th or better. A great result. With Leicesters performance, what is the opportunity next year? Why should players leave a challenging club for a "big" club, when that no longer means certianty in imprved position? e.g. Chelsea/Liverpool/Man Ure?Leicester/west Ham/us?

WTF??? Is that how Europa and Champions League positions are decided, on whether or not you beat Palace? Seriously?
-
Realistically, if he was 25 from 9 games he wouldn't cost 10M and wouldn't be playing for us. He does at least get himself into scoring positions, unlike the fat arm-chair critics

Jeez - not a complete set of chromosomes among the lot of them

I think that is wrong, since EU citizens are not on work permits. Same with people owning homes in Spain etc: they will become non-EU-citezns and non-residents. What a mess.

I'd say 93% is pretty good I'd also say the OP needs to learn how to post proper links etc I'd also also say that i haven't a clue how to do that and am not the person to advise.

I almost want Leicester to win. Almost. I definitely want to beat Spurs. Badly. Really badly. Really really badly. hate them with a vengeance.

Well deserved -
Quite. 99% or more of my life is spent NOT at football matches. I do not throw tables at people in this 99% or more of my life, nor do i punch them in the face. (Sometimes i must admit i feel that I would like to but i do not.) So why should I throw tables and punch people in the face at a football match and have the gall to think that is normal, acceptable behaviour that should be condoned?

Sounds like 6 violent tmoronic thugs less at the fotty, so what's wrong with that? Or should I believe a web site written by one man, voicing one opinion, about all those nasty Dutchemn throwing their faces at peoples hands, rather than that of a judge who has listened to prosecution and defense (which of course we have not had relate her)? I go for the "6 fewer violent morons" theory.

Wow thats a coincidence. Having said that, i will probably say it again since my computer misfires, crashes and generally is total $h!t. Probably made in portsmouth. Hang on, not its not - there are no jobs or workers there. Allegedly. Here comes the echo.....

Saw someone wearing a Pompey shirt on the beach at Takapuna, Auckland, New Zealand. Stopped for a friendly taunt. Quite nice guy really - maybe thats why he got as far away from that place as you can get.

Why is this not locked? Its not even funny! seems a pretty accurate reflection of the Pompey IQ levels. Or maybe the question should have been phrased as "what would you rather have: Saints win or pimpey lose?" To which i answer: Saints win, but its close

Agree and have two comments. It is self-fulfilling: people buy the statistics because they are afraid to be different, hence the trends. On the bright side this is where innovative clubs like SFC can benefit by out-thinking the trend-followers. Back in the old days (yes, old enough, but not trying to decry changes that have lead to modern football) the emphasis was getting to the bye line ad crossing backwards, or at least square. My feeling is that with the years people cross from deeper and deeper, easier for the defender.

Of course the headline implies there might be nasty goings-on. That is what it is there for. To get you to read it. When you read it. Nothing of substance. Hence the "sensationalism", which is a bit of an exaggeration to be honest. Try this one then: "Priest investigated for child abuse accusations". Hmmmm....

Rape, murder, deomestic violence, ISIS, thrd worls poverty, global warming. yeah, they're just all part of life. No problem. FFS???????? Like other posts say, things are changing - no more bananas and monkey noises. One day that will also catch up with you (unlikely), your kids (hopefully), Noodles and all you other racists.

I quote this because it is probably the worst example of load of knee-jerking reactive crap here. OK, Maggie may, if you are so omniscient, why are you not managing a premier league club instead of spednng a semi-****ed Monday night on your keyboard? Sorry to pick on you, since there are dozens of others, but clearly you are nowhere near the required standard, so please dont make such sweeping nonsensical generalised assertions. Unless f course you only do it as a wind-up.....
