Let me guess: you get ******ed up and go with mates, and scarcely see what's going on on the pitch. to you its a "day out on the ******", and oif you can mock any****er you like then so much the better. Very, very nice fan. Sorry don't live up to your standards
-
Well I was a stay-away until today: Festive spirit, oh go on then, Jeez..... The team was totally disorganised. Its one thing to have a weak squad, its another to not TRY to get the best out of them by (a) playing to their strengths, even though they might be limited strengths and (b) organising them as a team, not 11 individuals. But the thing that really ****ed me off was JP during the game. When he was in his little area by the side of the pitch he stood there in his ****-brown suit, hands in pockets, shoulders slumped. Zero instructions. Zero encouragement. Frequent expressions of frustration. ABSOLUTE ZERO MOTIVATION. HE HAD GIVEN UP THE ****. Constrast that with Calderwood and the way he behaved. Can anyone say that a player looking to the bench would feel more motivated and with a sense of purpose and organisation????????? JP out now - he is out of his depth and drowing, so JP, crawl onto land and quit this sinking ship. Lowe too please.

How the meaning of "optimistic" has changed. This club has negative ambition which is reflected by the negative "ambition" of this site. "Win 3 of those 7 matches is optimistic". Need to kick some arses round here.
-
Right, so that's one team 100% guaranteed to finish below us. Two more is bleeding obvious, innit? Complacency.
-
No, you misunderstand. My logic is this: - if all 3 clubs below is do crap then we are fine - if one or more improve then we also need to improve to stay above them - if we stay the same then we are fukced if either * forest do better OR * doncs do better OR * charlton do better OR REALLY FUKCED IF * two or more of forest, doncs or charlton do better. Sure, if the bottom 3 all say "yeah, 15 points from the last 23 games will be fine" then we will survive, but if ONLY ONE OF THEM picks up say 30 points, then we need to improve, and as soon as possible.
-
This is really bad logic, because it relies on those below us repeating their performances. maybe one of them will improve? Maybe 2 of them? Maybe all 3 of them? Looking back you need significantly more than a point a game average over the season, and we are short, points, players and manager coach or whatever you want to call him.

If Lowe had bunged £20,000,000 of his own dosh into SFC it would be different. But he hasn't. If he does bung £20,000,000 in i am sure things will look a lot better and i will look a lot kinder on him. Until then, I want him OUT.
-
he just isn't up to it. Nice guy i am sure, but not good enough. I wouldn't be either. i wouldn't be afraid to admit it though.
-
WHAT????????????????????????? You believe on some sort of fatalistic bullsiht thats its preordianed or something? Of course it makes a difference who the manager is - thats why Fergie is at Man U rather than JP. The same goes from the top (Lowe) to the bottom. IT DOES MAKE A DIFFERNECE AND WE ARE SECOND BEST EVERYWHERE FFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jesus f'in Christ
-
WTF? So racist, homophobic, anti-islamic, "no surrender" chants are just a bit of fun? Fukc off.
-
Dutch total football - stop whinging you lot. Jeez.............................
-
Oh dear oh dear oh dear. Please no more "total football". Its just getting ridiculous. We just can't score goals. JP doesn't really have it in him ("who else" someone asked, well Pearson maybe?). Terrible home form, and away form is not second best in the league - just look at the table. No leadership at the top and no ambition or motivation from the boardroom. Terrible.
-
Think I'll go, and when our third hits the net will sing "**** off Rupert, Rupert **** off". Call me plastic if you like, but at least i am consistent.
-
Disgusting. Stay-away plastic fans will want to go to this and should not be allowed to. We need some sort of decent standards here. I reckon cap the attendance at 15,000 to make sure the plastic fans can't get tickets. Keep the blood pure.

You just don't get it, do you? Watching the saints has been a mixture of good and bad - my team, but mostly a depressing experience in the last 4 years or so. Now we have the added "bonus" of Lowe's presence, and for me that is now enough to keep me away. Its not that i don't support the saints, its just that the plusses (my team, something to do on a crap Saturday, matchday experience) are overwhelmed by the negatives (mainly Lowe). Nobody HAS to go - I know you do because you are such a loyal fan - but it is a CHOICE. And Lowe's arrogant, divisive attitude is basically "go to SMS and kiss my ar$e". OK - I choose not to. And if administration comes and we end up playing on a park pitch I'll go and watch, but not if Lowe is still in charge.
-
How about "is Lowe taking the Company forward" as well?
-
Well, i have been staying away because of Lowe. Good result at Reading, tempted back, oh alright then. And then this: http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/articles/article.php?page_id=10958 Arrogant, patronising and insulting. Blames everyone except himself. Nothing conciliatory or in any way trying to persuade stay-aways to come back. No "pull-together" rallying cry. Just a **** off. And this: "Given time and further support from the various interested parties, we are confident that we can resolve the serious challenges that face our Company." Well, mate, I don't give a rats bollokc about the Company, i care about the saints, the football club. So so, i won't be going back until Lowe has gone.
-
Afraid not, GM. We're not even two clubs in the same city, so i can't see it ever being a possible. To put it another way, if there was a great stadium at portsmouth, or reading for that matter, would you want to share? Absolutely not, except possibly as a last resort if things go belly up.
-
I think the Lady's point is that, no matter how good the youngsters are, they are being totally mismanaged, no direction, no organisation, no structure, none in charge who has a clue.
-
"Saints 0........" says it all really. Nothing up front. And playing a system that really is not going to get anywhere at home, especially. Where has this "total football" bullsiht that we were sold a few months ago gone? I thought the plan was to play it around, score goals, let in a few maybe, but at least give it a go. But we have nothing up front, hence "Saints 0........"
-
To all those who were subjected to a 'Section 60' at Swansea
brmbrm replied to Thorpe-le-Saint's topic in The Saints
******. If you have got nothing to hide then why should the police waste time searching whoever they want, despite the fact they have nothing to hide? Because they don't know what they are doing and don't give a sh!t -
Saints beating Preston away is a shock. Just shows how some people's ambitions and expectations have changed. I am not saying we have a RIGHT to beat them, but we should have an EXPECTATION
-
Good questions, but aren't most of them covered in the syllabus for coaching badges, part 1?
-
Well i would bet mine that they aren't. Look at the first word on paragraph 3 "Whilst....". Now "whilst" is an archaic use of "while" and one that is not taught to people learning English as a foreign language. He is, after all, Swedish. While the Swedes generally have very good English, they are "while"-ers and not "whilst"-ers. OK, you can say its just someone editing his comments, but NOT "straight from his mouth alone".

Well i go for C. Yes, he sounds like he is a nice and honest, decent person and I don't wish him any harm. but I know lots of nice, honest, decent people and JP, like them, is just not capable of managing a CC footy team. He just isn't up to it. Its not fair to anyone for him to keep doing it. And i don't think he has a "good idea of how to play football the 'right' way". He knows how he wants it to be played, but sometimes the other 11 players on the pitch want a go as well. You have to mould the team to play as a team in the way that suits the team members, not come in with some abstract "best way to play" (that worked in the 70's but realistically things have moved on a bit since then...) and expect them to behave like world champions. But thats the same thing; he doesn't have what it takes to suceed. And as for who could succed him, well, very many could, but the really bad news is that the evile vile Lowe is the one who is in charge, so the questoin is really "... who is Lowe gonna get in to replace him though.......". Well, go down 3 divisions and you'd have a choice of people who would be willing to give it a go at Saints. But I don't think that will guyarantee any sort of success. Ah well.
