The rules are 100% clear and transparent. It takes a particularly inept sort of incompetence to go into admin a few days after the cut-off and get BOTH relegated AND start the following season at -10 points. Now where could we possibly find such an incompetent leader..........
-
**** off Village Idiot and don't try to tell me what club to support.
-
100% right. Two more boycotts here. SFC as a club is bigger than Lowe (except perhaps in Lowe's twisted imagination). If any serious punters note that Lowe would knock even a couple of thousand of the gates, thats over a £million a year. So why would they go for Lowe, with his proven track of mismanagment, when they could go for someone else? Answer: they won't of course. And don't give me any of that "but there isn't anyone else who can do it" bull$hit. Lowe is in no way a football person, so just get any MD of an SME to do the job, but preferably not an ego-driven incompetent like Lowe.
-
So to sum this up, StuRomseySaint, whose local team is Romsey town, hates his next most local team (Eastleigh) but loves his next next most local team (Saints), presumably becaise of this next-next-local-affinity. "We support our next-next-local team, da, da, da......"

Mike Jones - Saturday's ref to exagerate pitch invasion?
brmbrm replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
I looked at my watch and we had played 2;30 to 2:40 of extra time. When i looked back up I thought the pitch invasion was during normal time, ref leaving pitch, possible big trouble (you can see how attention i was paying....). So on that basis, he didn't play enough by over a minute. BUT. The clock on the TV was about 89:00 when the extra 4 minutes was added, so possibly the clock on the TV was wrong time, in which case its about OK. I'd much rather we didn't invade the pitch during the game time; more point deduction? -
You mean sectioned, not sanctioned.
-
So, to paraphrase, you are saying you want Lowe liquidated? Mods: can we have another "pledge" sticky please? (You'd have to go to Portsmouth to find a jury that would convict.)
-
Also says Lowe's planning a comeback. Rather have the Conference myself.
-
Pathetic? What about high-flying (well, high-aspring) Ipswich then? Anyhting over 20k is good, and over 24k would be excellent: bad team, bad times, yet people still go? Prospects for the future.

Club we should have a vendetta against over the points deduction
brmbrm replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
You can't blame the Fl for that - blame the greedy PL. Plus we knew the rules when we strted the season, so its a bit late to shout "foul" at the league. Better to blame the incompetents who trashed the club. -
Heads it makes no difference, tails its a fuKcing disaster. Only an idiot would choose tails. Lowe chose tails. Idiocy or spite? For a man with a big ego having the stadium stand up and sing "stand up if you want lowe out" and "Swing Lowe" must have left some big scars. Revenge! Revenge, i tell ye!
-
?????????????? Us boycotters got rid of Lowe. You quislings extended the agony. If you had boycotted too - gates down to 6,000 or so - the board would have kicked him out earlier, the crowds would have come back, SLH would not be in admin (or if it had, not a week after the points deduction deadline!), Dutch uber-managers would have been sent home, etc etc. Blame on you.
-
What??????????????????????????????????? Second to bottom, relegated, **** all wins and you don't feel he "has done that bad"?????? What sort of standards do you have? Whats OKish then - bottom? What's bad? Fail to turn up? jeeez mid-table would be "hasn't done that bad". Plus he's been here all season with preseason too, rather than being parachuted in at the last minute to try and save a sinking ship. He isn't up to mananing in the CCC, and probably not Div 1 or 2 either.
-
I have been saying this for some time too. It is clearly certian that we MIGHT get points deduction, so why ot do it a week earlier? Because Barclays wanted their £4,000? Get real - that's amost petty cash: the writing would be on the wall for months beofre that, so to say the decision to go into admin could not have been expected a week before is preposterous. No sensible alternative exists.
-
Hmmmm. I ain't no expert but the administrator either (a) tries to get the best possible price/deal or (b) sells to the first person to make any sort of offer. I think the answer is (b) and Alpine is right: we are doomed. Of course if Alpine and I are wrong, and the answer is (a), then there is no reason at all why it should have happened by now. Maybe the slower the better if there are two (or more) serious parties interested. But, hey, what do Alps and I know.

You are a total ***, aren't you? Now Top of the ***s I think.

COYR - get pledging -
Yes, keep up spirits, but saying something obviously wrong makes the crew think "he's just wrong". That's counterproductive.

7000 Tickets left for Palace game (according to the ticket office)
brmbrm replied to Saintmike666's topic in The Saints
Bet you are really ******ed off there was 22k+ there then. PLus with 24k+tickets allegedly sold, maybe some supporters were buying a ticket even though they couldn't go. COYR. Still some hope. -

More than went under Lowe. Nice sunny day too...... sleep in garden or sleep at SMS?....... -
Yes, creditors can force a company into admin if they choose. However, the directors can also choose admin if necessary. So why Lowe didn't do it a week earlier beats me, unless it was revenge/spite/malice. If only quislings like 19C etc had boycotted Lowe earlier we could have forced Barclays to put us into admin earlier, or, better still, get some action from the shareholders to oust lowe before he drives the club into the ground: but no, the quisling stuffs a few more shillings into Lowe's pockets and spin out the agony.
-
Every one of those players got slagged off for being $h!T. Unmercifully. So I think any "revenge" is what we have broguht on ourselves.
-
You can argue better/worse/different conditions as much as you like, but the unarguable fact is that at the end of LAST season the team didn't roll over and die every game: they fought hard. THIS year there is no motivation. That's what Wotte is responsible for.
-
Admin one week earlier would have been the sane, sensible thing to do. Now who knows where we stand next year. And all for £6k? F*kC off Rupert, surely even you could shell out 6k if the situation was retreivable. I still think its revenge: "Swing Lowe, swing rupert Lowe....." "Then swing this you fkucers!" End of club

Mate, they aren't "he" nipples. They are "she" nipples. Haven't seen as many in my life as perhaps i would like, but take it from me, they are definitely "she".
