Ugh? We have 28 more games. If we can get an average of 2 points per game we will be around the play-offs. Doesn't matter which points, just 56 of them. No "must win" games until we are 3 point behind with 1 game left. To reiterate, 2 points per game is the form for automatic promotion: i predict that two teams this year will do that, so why can't we? Calm down.

I agree its biased: Nick chose a run of 11 games, all of which were against teams OUTSIDE the top 8. Apart from Charlton And Norwich And Brisstle Rovers And MK Dons From which we got 3 wins and a draw, 10 points from 4 games. So your analysis was somewhat pessimistic, Nick.

Very definitely NOT my target. Mid-table is fione, but I want the last 15 games or so to be played with the skill, style and results of a league winnign team, because that's where we want to start in August 2010. So get the team settled and the4 momentum going this season.
