It all seemed to start at and after his injury. Maybe there was a lurking moment's hesitation before committing himself? Then loss of confidence and a downward spiral

Not quite: Home Team Southampton Away Team West Ham Possession Home 48% Away 52%

Cripes. Suppose your mum held a big interest in a Tupperware franchise. She dies. She leaves it to you. What do you do, assuming you guys are not Tupperware freaks? Sell it. Are you to blame? Actually I have nothing against Tupperware at all, so maybe the analogy should have been drawn with some crappy cosmetics company.

He'd fit in better in Oz, rather than NZ...

Not sure what you are on, but, people, STAY OFF THIS ****!!!! Your premise: "...the fans, city and everyone connected to Saints wouldn’t except (accept) that". So fu cking what? Its none of their business. Since when has public opinion decided who owns a footy club? Mike Ashley? I rest my case. Basically if it was a bit unpopular then they spend a few k on PR, then "try to survive" those massive Saints Forum protests. As in, ignore them, as will 95%+ of the fan base -
I can share that blame. Woke up early enough in NZ to check the progress - I try to never do that for the obvious reason. 89 minutes, leading 2-1. It just felt inevitable.

This post deserves more recognition than it got -
7:30am, beach at Pacific Bay, Tutukaka. Beautiful still morning. Who drives up: someone with the rego "Pompy". Told him he was the last person i wanted to see but we had a decent chat. No mockery at all. No ****-take. Just sympathy really, plus comment on how the team seemed to have just given up. Given up. So every team has its disaster day. Won't stop me supporting them. A win sometime would cheer me up no end though. FFS.

Leicester are NOT a mid table team. Very unfair to them. They are excellent. Everything we are not. Still in shock. Oh well, at least if I still support the saints tomorrow then I am a real fan.

100% agree. Jaw dropped to floor. Stayed there or a few days

Hmm. Wonder how many of those precious PL footballers are on as low a salary as that. Fact is the PL is just a mega-cash-machine, and TV and punditry are just a part of that. Ask this question: how many times preferable/better/whatever is Lineker compared to say Lawro/Savage? Then see if the salary works out fine or not
-
Yeah, right. Don't buy a ticket "if you are a women". Jeez. Oxbridge set strikes again. A women at a footy match? Unpossible!
-
Our reserves lose/draw/win with someone we don't give a shot about, saving the first eleven to do some mega-****-kicking. please
-
Based on your supposition then

Lol. We're over from NZ in September and have been trying to buy a couple of tickets online for quite some time. We're on the database but naturally we dont go to many matches. Unpossible, it seems, although i will go to the ground next week. Likely just have a day out at the seaside instead. Oh well.
