  1. Quite. I mean whenever i am off to a confidential business meeting the first thing i do is to make sure the cabbie knows all about it. tell the cabbie then it NEVER gets out - thats how it works, isn't it?
  2. We'd never try and scout young players from other clubs. Absolutely not. Despicable. Not until they are 30 anyway, and have paid their dues.
  3. This (or similar) for me. 35 yard scorcher? i've seen heaps of them in row Z, the ones that score are basically lucky random thumps. Slick passing, unplayable footy, thats the one.
  4. He's "lucky to be alive", that steward
  5. Actually, I am still having problems where the "moral compass" fits in?
  6. Sorry, I seem to have lost the drift of your argument, if there ever was one. i think you assume that we are going to get relegated, despite any possible purchases (which will be poor). Is this basically a post for 8 months time assuming we are relegated and likely humliated by how bad we are? Good grief..................... Nostradamus? Or Nostra Dumass?
  7. Wow. Bit much for me. Not been following the game, being in NZ, but to summarise: - J Rod is the bees knees - Ramirez and Miyuka are total ****e we should of-load for a bunch of green shield stamps and a tin of coke - Guly, well just boo him, an Puncheon too - Adkins out! But presumably if we had won 1-0 the world would be perfect. Great. How about posting these this IN ADVANCE (by the way, that means BEFORE THE GAME to a lot of you) rather than benefitting from hindsight (i.e. pretending you would do what you said you would do now that you know what the outcome of doing what you didnt want to do was, and didn't even say you wouldn't do what was being done, but just twisting facts to suit your miserable old selves.)
  8. There should be a "not" in there
  9. By this I presume you mean "their nearest Premiership top-6 team". that sounds plastic to me. People should only be allowed into the ground of their nearest team. That includes you, OP. Otherwise is a disgrace, people just wanting to go and see a game of football for a nice afternoon out, shouldn't be allowed, should have the blood in their veins and don't get me started on people who have two claubs. Two clubs? TWO CLUBS???? thats uber-plastic and people like that should be allowed in football grounds only people who have only ever supported one team and who only ever want to watch one team and who probably haven't really left the town they grew up in for 40 years or nmore but thats another story. Thats better.
  10. I would say these 3 are FAR from optimum. Apart from the pedantic saints beat Chelsea, surely Norwich and Fulham winning are much better for our (extremeley good IMHO) survival chances? Finish above either and we survive; the only other issue is europe, and neither of those teams will figure.
  11. Well of course it is a valid point: its easier to beat Reading at home than Man City away, but you don't get the moaning buzz when you win....
  12. Well I wouldn't wipe his arse for twenty quid. I'd do it, but still haven't worked out my minimum price. It's got a few zeroes in it though.
  13. Good point - worth considering
  14. BBC: "Mark Clattenburg's return to action was overshadowed by a terrible mistake from Southampton keeper Paulo Gazzaniga that gifted Norwich a point." Very very expensive at this level. Davies for me.
  15. Yes. Interesting. And exciting. Very, very exciting. I am now so excited.
  16. Sorry if i am a bit slow here. Which part of telling him he is a ‘f**king black c**t’ is not racist? All of it? Some of it? None of it? In the old days you could just say they were "f...ing ni..ers" and nobody gave a **** until all this PC crap came along giving n***gers, je*s, ga*s, w**en and all them other subspecies rights like us rednecks. String em up on a saturday, bit of fun, thats all. OK, maybe i overranted in the last pararaph.....

    Di Matteo

Its true! I heard the same thing! On the other thread! So it must be true!
  18. FFS this is bizarre. It seems the link is 100% accurtae. The OP says it is "poo stirring". Nobody says anything ever anywhere at all nothing nix zilch to contradict any of the actual facts, yet people say its poo stirring rathar than actually fact? Blinkered, biased, thick, stupid, prejudiced? whikch sort of """fan""" do you think you are? In what possible sense did the club "do the right thing" here? Apart, of course, from not being an echo journaliost. Jeeeeez
  19. Not the best bit of my day, but arguably the most entertaining, was reading that thread. Head,, hang, shame..... Hahahahahahahahahahah
  20. On seeing the replay on tv yet again, garza could clearly have cost us heaps instead of just one goal. W can't afford to risk him IMHO. Promise yes, but learn from mistakes in the reserves please.
  21. Hmmmm. I reckon Gazza is 3 years away from being a top keeper. Positioning today was absolutely shocking. For me: 1) Davies - OK, no superstar, but would be pretty farken solid. Proven in the prem, or are we not allowed to say that? 2) Gazza - jeez: he could shed 3 goals a game. Lots of potential but realisitcally he is NOT up to the job 2) Boruc - at the moment totally random, but will in 6 months be the number 1, IMHO, or else not at the club
  22. Our results against teams in the bottom HALF of the table: Played 3, won 2, lost 1 (Wigan) Plenty more opportunities out there, not just the team below.
  23. Eating too many beans?
  24. But you can roll it in glitter. You won't compensate for lack of ability, but at the omens the lack of organisation is costing us more.
  25. "Game on" would be 3 points or less below 17th. Or maybe even more. Preferable 10 points above, but that ain't going to happen
