And it looks like Muamba will pull through relatively unscathed - it seems people want to maximise how tragic it all is and be more upset than anyone else. Reminds me of the mawkish outpouring of grief after princess diana died. I refuse to believe that anyone who is not a friend or relative of Muamba can be genuinely upset by it.

Evens for the title is quite good value I reckon. If you can get that on betfair, stick a lump on and wait til we've beaten Hull and Doncaster then lay it off at odds-on. Just like printing money :-)

If I had it my way the place would be full of 'em.

I'm sure that plenty of them are idiots. However, I went via Surrey Quays station on saturday and didn't have a clue where I was going so went into a pub to get a pint and asked some people in there. Three really sound Millwall fans walked me to the stadium and we had a good chat about the worst league one grounds we'd visited. They were really good blokes.

The problem is that you're thinking about it too much, and projecting your uncertainty onto the yorkshire puddings.
-
You're more likely to be inconveniced by the police if they see you in colours than get any trouble from Millwall fans. I wouldn't worry about it though.

Thats interesting - have you heard of the book The Bromley Boys? It covers the team in the late 1960s so just after your dad would have been watching them I guess. Interview with the author here http://theballisround.co.uk/2011/02/07/stand-up-for-the-bromley-boys/ I live in Bromley myself and they have a decent ground there at Hayes Lane. It's always fun to go to the non-league fixtures, and a bit cheaper than St Marys at least. Did he ever take you to watch them?

Car crime @ Itchen Valley Country Park

We used to do that after a mate showed us a badge he'd taken from a ford that had been nicked and abandoned somewhere. But it didn't last long because we did it in broad daylight down our narrow road with terraced houses on both sides. That was a bad day for all concerned! -
The ups and downs are what make it special.

What are the words to the Tadanari song? Heard it at the Burnley game and it was stuck in my head for ages after but I didn't know the words.
-
No harm in trying... anyone got a spare ticket?
-
Can't think of any more puns but does anyone have a spare ticket for tonight?
-
Not too bothered either way. The Championship is a good league to be in :-)
-
A mate got tickets on wednesday and he reckons they'd sold about 1600 by then. So I would think your 2000 guess will be about right.
-
I just got 2 seats in block 39, but they're not together. Seems like there are seats in block 43 but not keen on that.
-
Does anyone know why tickets for the carlisle game tomorrow are not available online? It can't have sold out surely?
-
Not sure if it counts but Poortvliet made one appearance as a trialist pre-season in 1988, after he left Antwerp.
-
Easy to say that now.
-
Incredible that it never occurred to them. I'd be up for going as well if I can stand on the terrace.

Great story that, it must be the crest that they like. I remember reading a story about someone being kidnapped by militants in Iraq but they let him go because he had the Muslim crest on his pompey shirt. I'm fairly sure that it was complete b*llocks but quite funny nonetheless.

I'm not an ST holder but I've been to a few away games this season: including Brentford, Wycombe :-( Northampton, MK. If there is an ST holder who can get me 2 tickets for this game it would be very much appreciated. I'll take them to a disco in Brighton after the game! ;-)
-
Anyone know how many are left?
-
Not really surprising is it. People were talking about a relegation fight this year! Enjoy another season in league 1 and we'll be back in the championship in 2011

I hope so, I really like them!
