Telegraph Article: just how good are Premier League's 'Barcelona'?

Simon is a big Saints fan but you don't see pages of positive stories in the Metro. PR companies don't prompt journalists by the way. They work with them to facilitate exclusive access, interviews etc. -

If the story stands up then of course not. It helps that with the exception of Mitchell's departure, there's nothing negative to write about now. Essentially the club and agency identified The Telegraph as a sympathetic title during #meltdown and worked with them to place a series of articles with a more positive spin, such as the interviews with senior management and a lot of the coverage we've seen recently. The relationship is ongoing. -

Close but not quite. We've had a media partnership with Telegraph for a while now. It was one of the first things the new PR agency did. -
We have employed a new London PR agency who are working with club's media team hence all this coverage. They were responsible for the Gareth Bale video and the media launch of the new pavilion at Staplewood.

Players in fancy dress would look nearly as stupid as fans.

There's no reason whatsoever for grown men to wear replica shirts to football, let alone fancy dress.

How about we aim to stop making outlandish claims about what will hapen next season before we're even safe from relgation in the current one.

Lighten up, we won. Nothing wrong with a few kids wanting to thank the players and enjoy the moment. It was hardly West Ham Millwall was it?

There was a press conference today at the Spinnaker Tower following an inspection of the city by the England 2018 World Cup team. No-one from the club attended as they were all in an emergency meeting. Make of that what you want. Clock's ticking skates...

Portsmouth council is making the bid not the football club. Our council was approached but in their infinite wisdom turned it down... ie they are skint. The FA are desperate for a city on the south coast to be a host city as it is a FIFA requirement that the host cities are spread equally across the country and not just in one area. At least it's a good excuse for a tear up in P*mpey..,

i was told the following tonight by a friend in London. Make of it what you want, especially the bit about the stadium... To be honest, Saints had a lucky escape there. The...er..."prospective new owner" is just a kid from round our way, on the blag. No proper dough, still lives with his mum and dad. He was trying to pull a fast one and sell the ground on. Last time I saw him he was trying (and failing) to buy a book shop near Brent Cross
