Flying up from Stansted on Friday, staying in Newcastle and fly back on Sunday. Flights were £30odd
-
you could train it. Bescot Stadium Station is right behind the away end, and the train to new street return is just £3.10. approx every half hour and a 20-30 min trip.
-
Yes Mate. You can park in the Rugby Club. Dont park in the small access road to the club, as you will be clamped!
-
Lets get the same level of support as we did last season. Its was a great performance by the Saints fans... See you all there....

It says yes here... http://www.footballgroundguide.com/notts_county/

Saw this stat page for Notts County… Why cant we do this? …or do we…? 2010/11 Away Followings http://www.nottscountyfc.co.uk/page/...,10426,00.html Copy this from a Notts County thread on main page... perhaps we should merge that on onto here?

I was up their too, and got to say it was rammed in our section. We had extra guys standing next to us in the Isle too. We were stood (sat) to the left of the stand (if looking at the stand from the pitch). Maybe they had blocked-off the section(s) at the other end of the stand as well as the front rows, I could not see to the left, but it was very rammed in our bit... and on the anniversary day of the 92, as well! -
Hi Kevin I have approved your membership to the group. Welcome on board mate! When you get a chance, maybe drop a "Hi" to the list. Hope to meet up at a game soon...
-
Hi Kevin We already have a supporters group up your way, and be great to have you on board. The group is called COLSLAW (Committee Of Loyal Saints Living Around Watford) Some of us are season ticket holders, and there is always some of our group going to most away games too. We have around 80 registered in our group, but only a fraction who travel regularly. We normally have a car or two that go down to Home games from the Hemel, Watford, Aylesbury areas. You are more than welcome to join us and lift-share. Best thing to do is Join our e-mail group at the following Address and drop in any time. http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/tossa/ Be great to have another local Saint on board.

Very apt. Excellent suggestion. The words say it all. Its down to him that Saints are still able to Go Marching On... Glory glory Markus Liebherr, Glory glory Markus Liebherr Glory glory Markus Liebherr ...and the Saints Go Marching On On On...

Markus Liebherr RIP. All tributes here please.

The Good.... Orient - for the Real Ale Pub Crawl before and stacks again after Walsall - for the Real Ale beforehand Millwall - for the Real Ale before and after Carlisle - long trip but made it up in time for pub opening at 11am and then back home in time for a Curry Yeovil - sunburned Head, last minute goal and wasted on far too much Real Ale The really bad... Swindon - Sh1te pub, ****e game, sh1te away end Colchester - Soulless ground in middle of nowhere Brighton - nothing good to say about it, at all I have really enjoyed league 1 away games. Already looking forward to next seasons trips!!!! Away games are not just about the 90 mins of footy, but the whole away-day experience. Spending a day from early-doors with a bunch of mates that just happen to support and follow the same footy team as you! Quality!
-
 nope... dont you remember a certain DellHurst and the theme then... worked bloody well that day....and a pretty important game that was too...
-
Best... Walsall Orient Millwall Worst... Swindon Brighton Bristol Rovers (I know its coming up, but it was sh1t before, and will be again!!!)
-
For me, I organised 30odd tickets for our supporters group, and feel I owe them some sort of follow-up. Dont get me wrong we didn't let Sh1tespoons ruin an absolutely top-day out. What I advertised to my group was what was advertised to me, and hence I also feel I have some responsibility to my fellow TOSSAs / COLSLAWs
-
Yes mate that was me. must admit the words... TOSSA and COLSLAW do raise a few questions and smiles from people. Any other Saints groups out there with strange acronyms? Also bumped into Barnet Saint as well. drop me a line mate if still interested in joining up for Games etc? Have you still got my E-mail address?
-
That was the COLSLAW crew (Committee Of Loyal Saints Living Around Watfrord). We were around the TOSSA/COLSLAW flag near the stage. One our group was bringing his daughter along and whilst standing at Hemel Hempstead station at 7.30am, she strated to feel really poorley, so she went off home and Dad came to the game! We would never rip off another Saint, and shame on those that did! glad you were able to use the ticket. Cheers Hemel Saint COLSLAW

Agree with the above. It was a sh*t Hole. When we go back for the Play-off finals, remember to avoid it like the plague. Also not having a dig at Nick Illingsworth, as I belive he went on recommnedations from other fan groups who used it. Wembley is an awful venue for a national sjhow-piece to be built in. Shame on the decision makers. The one good news about Silverspoons is that I believe the Skates will be using it.... They will fit in brilliantly, espcially if they bring all their caravans...
