6 COLSLAWs staying in a B&B near North Pier Staying the Sat night.

Bloody good turnout in a pub in StAlbans. We even found 2 Saints fans (1 a season ticket holder). Good turnout from the COLSLAW crew... now its back on the road after our boycott... We were happy crew that his the curry house... I will take that win any day of the week!!!

Well we have 1 member going to Leeds. Around 20+ regular travelers are boycotting the trip and meeting up in a local pub... Thats nearly £1,000 Bates will miss out on. also saw this on another forum. They are struggling to sell the targeted 30,000

just a note to all members... Due to our Leeds boycott.... We are all meeting up in Hertfordshire to watch the game on TV. Come and join us!

I will drink with anyone (except a skate, of course). but you have an advantage over me.... I dont know who Viking Warrior is, and I cant get PMs..... :-( We still drink in the PoW, pre-match... come and say hello...

Hey... great to see COLSLAW and TOSSA getting a mention. Just to let you all know, we are still here.... going strong and in fact growing! The numbers around the TOSSA (Oxford) part of our region have reduced a little, but the majority of our group are based around COLSLAW land (Herts, Beds, Bucks, Northants etc etc). DEANO6.... We are not too secretive, I believe (unless I have missed something!). Anyone based around our part of the world are more than welcome to say hi, or join us. Dellhurst.... no question, my best away morning, afternoon and evening... the hangover the next day, still seemed worth it!!!

Love the Vapors!! But am I the only one who hates to hear any Tannoy Music, when the stadium is rocking to the supporters noise! Sure, play music to drown out the away fans if the result goes against us. But not when the atmosphere after a victory is so good!

Interesting you say this. I run a supporters group North of London. We have taken up to 20 fans to Northern away games, this season. However one of our group heard about the Leeds ticket price and with it being on TV, suggested our group boycott the game and meet up in Hertfordshire, watch the game in a pub, and have a curry afterwards. ...and the response so far has been unanimous!!! So we have agreed to boycott Leeds away and spend the cash on beer and curry instead, locally. My understanding is that Saints don't lose out on the away ticket sales, just Leeds. is that right?

Awful journey back on the London Bound trains…. 1 train turned into 4!! Ist train was full of Snow Patrol fans going to the NEC, they were worried about missing the start!! Then we were asked to change trains twice at Northampton station! After a very lengthy stop at the station, The train announcer said, …“I have been asked to terminate the train by my company at this station, but like you passengers, I am the last person to be told and I have no idea why we are terminating” Eventually got to Hemel Station around 11.30’ish, to find not 1 single car at the station…no one, no Taxis, nothing!! Had to trundle in a blizzard the whole way home by foot… the whole effing 4 miles!!! I walked up the steep hill from Hemel Town Centre, passing literally dozens of cars abandoning their journey, or getting tows!!! got in around 1am to (Hemel Hempstead). Was it worth it>>>> funnily enough…. Yes!! I enjoyed the day in a strange distorted sort of way.

Bungle Our crew are also doing a weekend in Blackpool (Sat night). You know you should do really. makes perfect sense!!

Our group will be heading for here too. Anyone know what the parking is like around the pub...

The sections to the bottom-right / bottom-left corner definitely were 'sterile areas' . I walked in with a flag, a steward saw it and told me to put it across the seats in one of the two Sterile Areas (segregation areas) between the two sets of fans. also... Our groups contact in the Ticket Office told us that ALL tickets allocated to SFC had been snapped up. We did sell out. .

at last... a good suggestion. Words aint that difficult, the tune is recognisable, and it might even stretch to two verses! come on, lets get concensus on one new tune for Sunday!

One of our group have dropped out, so have spare adult ticket going. We are travelling up tonight but will be in THE SALUTATION pub at Donny before the game.

Hi Mate. We changed our plans. Now going to see BAD MANNERS at Leamington Spa on Friday night, stay there overnight and head up to Donny for Sat am. Seen FTJ a couple times recently and they perform a very good Jam set. only 1 member of the original Jam, but still a good night out!

just a thought, have you tried splitting the tickets? ie... Buy a normal return from the 1st station after the embargo, then buy a group save return tickets for the rest of the journey. We did this for the Swansea away game a couple seasons ago. I have not checked it out, but worth a look....
