If true it's a disgrace, and the culprit needs to be caught a.s.a.p. No one in their right mind would make death threats,Wilde has acted badly but he still doesn't deserve anything like that. Like a few others this Echo story puzzles me,coming as it does before the fans demonstrations. Is this pre-planned to show supporters in a bad light, and deflect onlookers away from the obvious miss-management and problems that exist at St Marys ? Anyone can come up with allegations of death threats, and while I don't disbelieve Wilde the timing certainly is interesting !!

Sad when this happens, especially with a nice guy.You gave it your best, but even you must admit it was too high a mountain to climb.Rupert Lowe must shoulder most of the blame,he did you no favours. All the best, and good luck in your next job.

Halo has said perfectly, what thousands of us Saints supporters feel. Many of us have supported our team for years, and followed them win or lose all over the country. As in Halo's case we have had to make sacrifices at times to follow our beloved team, but those sacrifices always seemed worth it.Now sadly many have reached the point of total despair,we and our club have had the lifeblood sucked out of us by the powers that be at St Marys.

Today our "total football experiment",means this..... We are totally rubbish We are totally tactically inept The coach totally hasn't a clue The players totally don't understand what the coach wants or is on about The Chairman treats the fans with total contempt The sum total of passion in our team is nil We are becoming a total embarrassment and laughing stock Do I need to go on....... "total football"...... Total bo**ocks

One win at home all season,is a total disgrace.Surely anyone with one brain cell or more, must now accept that we can't carry on like this ! All the excuses have now been played out, nearly every week the fans are insulted by lame excuses coming from the idiots at St Marys. Our club is now on its knees, something has to happen now to save the club.
-
Great result, but meaningless if we can't beat Doncaster next game. Enough of all that for now, let's enjoy this win and give credit where it's deserved. Whatever the majority think about Rupert,we are all fans and only want the Saints to succeed.
-
Completely outclassed from what I could see,and the term "men versus boys" comfortably springs to mind ! Man Ure hardly had to move out of third gear, and we had no answer to them.Despite some iffy decisions we were well beaten, and no one I've spoken to could see any real positives for us. Sorry I can't put a positive slant on things, apart from the fact it wasn't 0 - 7 as some people were fearful of before the game. Another bad day at the office I'm afraid, painfully we are now becoming accustomed to it !

Rupert Lowe, you are the weakest link. GOODBYE (wink)

Can I have the coins that were apparently thrown at you,as times are hard !!

What spin will the OS put on the Reading game then?
sun of spain replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
More rubbish from "The Ministry Of Positives From Negatives",under our great leader Lord Lowe. The OS could turn a catastrophe, into the most positive event of the year. -
Wait for JP's Dutch ramble on the OS now,all about how we were unluckyyet again ! Our home record will kill us unfortunately, unless miracles happen in January (striker etc).

And this just about sums everything up for many Saints supporters,as sad as it may be. We have seen our once great club bought to it's knees, and there seems little that we can do about it ? Staying away is an individuals right, whether it is in protest or just "can't be asked".No one should feel guilty about making that decision, perhaps if enough people did it the powers that be might sit up and take notice (though I doubt it with this shower in charge). :smt089

So now Lowe says we couldn't afford Pearson!!!!!!!!
sun of spain replied to um pahars's topic in The Saints
With three Dutchmen now on board,I doubt if there's much in it on the wages front ?What we do know is that Pearson showed the passion that most fans appreciated, and was not afraid to drop players that weren't doing the business. It's now becoming apparent that Rupert has once again made a massive mistake appointing "the Dutch dream team",but don't hold your breath expecting him to admit it ! Many of us aren't taken in by his "couldn't afford Pearson" routine, why doesn't he just come clean and admit he didn't want him and had made other arrangements. The fans are sick of all the spin and being economical with the truth routine, where did all the honesty disappear to at our club ? -
Whatever views we hold,we are all Saints fans at the end of the day. This World would be a boring place if we were all the same, and good honest opinions / discussions are always welcome. FELIZ NAVIDAD :smt023

With a few Dutch spliffs I feel I can fly,with a few thousand I think I'm a good Manager !!
-
Another Dutchman,to add to our "total football" experiment. The whole thing is like Dutch cheese, looks nice on the outside but no taste and full of holes inside ! Gouda help us !!
-
That's impossible,Rupert can't top himself because he's perfect anyway ! ( In his eyes that is !!! ) I'd go with the Lucy Pinder wish, and number 69 in the list ! .....Oh and of course,World peace
-
Did you get the name of the person who was dealing with your ticket application ****-up ,was it Rupert something ?
-
Spot on Wes,this sums up perfectly the situation our club is in. However good our youngsters might be,they are having the enthusiasm and confidence slowly knocked out of them.Supporters are never happy when they see their team struggling, and with all the off field politics going on they soon start to slip away in ever increasing numbers. As a shareholder I'm certainly not happy with the direction we are heading in,I can't believe for one moment that any sane shareholder is ? Lowe has meddled too much in the club for my liking,if he's still continuing to do so he should be removed as soon as possible. When are those shareholders with with major holdings going to wake up and realise, that there will no club left if Lowe is allowed to continue with his crazy experiments and meddling in things he knows nothing about !!

Preston 2-3 Saints - You've Gotta be Havin' a Laugh
sun of spain replied to Arizona's topic in The Saints
Purposely kept away from the TV and computer today,as I was dreading some bad news.Couldn't believe it when I saw the result on the tele, almost fell of my chair !! Great result boys, and to come back from two nil down shows some guts and character. Now we need to build on this, and not slip back again in the next match. -
Are we better off than when Crouch was here?
sun of spain replied to Channon's Sideburns's topic in The Saints
In a word No. Nothing more to say really, most true fans would rather have Leon around than the other two clowns. -
Rupert reads his latest love letter, from Michael Wilde.
-
Nothing will happen IMO,the financial meltdown has seen to that.Where would the money come from for any takeover, institutions are hardly awash with cash at this time ! It's a nice thought, but no white knight is going to ride in and rescue our club IMO.
-
He might be wealthy in money terms, but he's bankrupt as far as Saints fans are concerned (in more ways than one).We won't get a penny of his cash however rich he is,his idea of helping the club is bleeding it dry (as you say) and bringing it to its knees. I don't doubt the man is richer now than before he attached himself to SFC,which only leaves a very bitter taste in many fans mouths.
-
And if Lowe and Wilde were true fans, they'd have put some of their money into the club long before now ! Leon will sit tight and watch how things develop I'm sure, and not prop up the Lowe / Wilde failed regime with his hard earned cash.
