De Boer's odds have dropped today, is now ahead of Howe as favourite.

If we want Eddie Howe, we might as well have kept Nigel Adkins? I don't really see how his record is much of an improvement.

Always liked him. Thought him and Clyne were the absolute business on the right hand side of the pitch at one point.

He hasn't been consistent enough this season to throw very big money at. He's proved to me that he can be world class when he wants to be, and very ordinary when he doesn't, and I'm not sure the club should take the gamble of breaking club records for someone who might disappear for games at a time if his heart's not in it. Always one strop away from an expensive, average player, so sadly it's time to take the money.

Difficult to pick a MOTM today as there were so many outstanding performances. Is it too much to ask for this level of desire and performance in all games?

Yep, and it was Adkins who was responsible for the fitness and pressing which was worked well for us in the prem before Poch turned up. Got rid too soon if you ask me.

I don't think he can be criticised too much for his disciplinary record. Koeman has stated in interviews that sometimes a yellow card is necessary from midfield to prevent a counter attack. We could do without him suspended, but I wouldn't change him and hope he stays.

They were excellent when they came here, thought they might end up top 6. It hasn't happened and with hindsight maybe they took advantage of our tiredness whilst we were still in the midst of European ambitions. Tough game, would take a draw.

We should do more short corners.

I would love to see Van Dijk get forward more. He's a real threat.

Can't see it going away. Having used it in London, it's efficient, reliable, cheap and easy to use. If there are valid concerns about lack of registration leading to worries about safety, then perhaps there will still be a market for some traditional cabs, but I can only see uber getting bigger and bigger.

Sometimes our worst player, appears sulky, won't run, simple errors. Can be so frustrating, then comes on today and scores twice against the odds. Lately I haven't wanted to see him on he pitch at all, but without him today we'd have lost. He doesn't seem settled with us right now for whatever reason.

Not sure he deserves to be in the starting lineup vs Liverpool anyway judging by his performance against Sunderland. Never seen him look less interested.

At one point today Juanmi was standing in Sunderland box with nobody near him and nobody between him and the goal. JWP had the ball and just needed to knock it 5 yards forward to Juanmi and he'd have been on goal but instead passed it sideways. Sums up our attacking at present. Is it worth trying VVD as a striker for a while? Can we clone him? I've never seen Mane look so immobile. He's coasting, didn't seem to want to sprint or win anything. His mind is not right and I would not start him again this season.
