Lallana also a good example. Lacked pace in the prem, and new it, so chose to focus on skills and technique to improve his game.
Ely had better hurry up with improving if he's going to make the grade.
Yeah, improving quickly which bodes very well for the future.
A couple of impressive runs forward with the ball today too, and playing with 3 CB we should be able to compensate for his slowness to get back.
Better all over the pitch.
Where JWP passes back too often for my liking, Romeu always turns and looks to play the ball forward and start an attacking move. Very positive person to have in the middle of the pitch.
Winning today has taken a little pressure off. The results Hasenhustle is creating in the league give me much more confidence that we will be safe this season.
So, we can perhaps afford to invest a little bit more for this game to keep the winning mentality. A good time to start a cup run!

Got to be this then hasn't it? Perhaps Cedric, otherwise I don't see much option.
Bournemouth at home end of last season was as good as I've seen it for a good while. Maybe made a difference too!
1-1 against Huddersfield at home was the most miserable.
Trouble is, he doesn't seem to fit any of the systems that we've had under any of the managers. I was hopeful he might benefit from this current pressing style, but it seems not.
Just not closing down or close enough for my liking. Watch again and crosses from the opposition could be taken at leisure. Very casual imo.
Plenty of potential I'm sure but needs a coffee before kickoff or something if he's to get close enough.
