Piers Morgan chastising people for being out of their house and going about their business, whilst being out of his house and going about his business.

"...an astounding number for a 6 p.m. cable broadcast, more akin to the viewership for a popular prime-time sitcom..." Go figure.

If Boris has to step aside don't they give it to Corbyn as he's the next biggest leader?
-
Noooo. I like a fresh start. New players (well maybe not for us) improved strategy and we start again. Slate clean.
-
Just need Boris to get on the telly and tell people how it is...

Banning the eating of meat sounds drastic and won't get many likes but, in the same way as banning cigarettes, I suspect people will get used to the hardship within a few weeks and the whole population would be better off as a result.

As I see it, the only elements of "nature" here is that a) we should learn to stay away from the animals deep in the forests and b) diseases spread well in dense populations.

Outside exercise allowed once per day...pleased about that.

Mortality rate seems to be steadily creeping up (if you can trust the figures). 3% initially and for quite a while but above 4% for a few days now. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

Having legitimate reason to say "flange".

I guess, looking to the future, food manufactures may be treated much the same as healthcare workers and instructed to continue to work until they have symptoms. Of course we buy much of our food from Europe which will be a factor. I imagine if the UK suddenly had to look after itself regarding food manufacture and supply it would starve (not saying that scenario is imminent or even likely).

I'm not surprised about the lack of food. I was in my Tesco today and I couldn't see any obvious panic buying or unnecessary stocking up. I think, like me, people are thinking they and their family are likely to be spending a lot more time indoors and are getting extra food in. Definitely 2 out of 4 of our family will now be off work and subsequently eating at home. 3rd is a student so she won't be far behind. Shelves are shockingly empty though. Guessing the lack of food goes right up to manufacture level. Perhaps we will be looking at a food crisis before long...

Thought Kuenssberg's question was the best....basically: I know you've listened to all the science but what happens if your wrong?

Thought this at the gym before. All these fit, trim people are done! Get lost and give us fatties some room. Also, why do they not supply seats in gyms. Are we not allowed to take the weight off for a minute after we've spent several minutes fiddling around setting up the machine.

Said this for a long time. Perhaps our lack of CB is more pressing than our lack of holding midfield position right this minute. Maybe another experiment we can try once we're safe.

Took all the selfies he needed. Time to move on! -
People not moving off when the lights turn green because they're busy looking down at their phones/crossword puzzles.

I saw it at the time fairly close up on the way downstairs and then a replay in the concourse. Looked like Bertie got studs in the guts. Challenge was certainly late, difficult to pull out but certainly didn't kick out. Thought yellow was fair at the time. I suspect a lot more is looked at on VAR than we are aware of at the time...

The main problems I had with yesterdays decisions was the time it took to make them. If your looking at it for more than 10 seconds and can't decide, move on.

Someone who has some connection with the city/county/country would be nice but seems unrealistic these days. Failing that an set-up that has some experience owning and developing big sporting organisations.
