My dog is so useful, fetching and carrying, I decided to name him "Help".

"that one friend that thinks their black" was the tweet. Hardly the worst thing I can remember reading. A fine for his grammar is probably in order.

Prowse giving a good account of himself. His one-touch passing this season is an improvement in his game and we saw a little of it tonight.
-
Yay, goal from the Prowse.

Not sure about that. They’re more likely to be influenced by income, clicks these days, and you get lots of those by creating a stir...

...and the media.

Don't forget the paedophilia. English and European history is full of girls married off years before the age of 16 to older men. Things that were normal then are not tolerated now. Times change.

Oh fair enough, I missed that one.

Salisu continues to look very good...

I know that would be sensible but I'd really like to see them enjoy themselves and get a few more goals...

"Egmont, the publisher of Mr Men and Little Miss books, declined to comment." Speaks volumes. A pretty pointless study. The books are from the 70's and 80's written by a man who was born in 1935. Surely the point of studying history is because it is different from today. Things were different last century than they are this century. What a revelation! I do worry about universities sometimes.

In fairness you could also see the comment as good sportsmanship. And he isn't wrong, the win was fully deserved.

It comes from the top down. I think we need to get the sale done, hopefully to an owner who is interested and knows how to make businesses of this scale succeed. Survive this season and maybe things will happen.

In the build-up the female commentator described the game as a relegation battle. I laughed...I'm not laughing now

Final pass of the game backwards as the ref blows the whistle...

Do it for the mums!!!

That's the spirit, need to get that goal difference into positive numbers.

He was a bit static, not a great passer of the ball either. Don't think I ever saw him in a midfield position, where apparently he could play.

Jermaine Wright got a lot of stick. Right back for us which I suspect wasn't his natural position.
-
Ok you've twisted my arm.

Yes, fair point. Since I'm spouting off, here's an idea. If we all agree that we would prefer a completely non-violent society, perhaps we should start by banning all combat sports, boxing matches, karate clubs etc. It's difficult to say we want less violence then fervently cheer on Fury smashing his fists into Joshua's face and make the winner a national hero. It would be a shame, only yesterday I enjoyed an old Joe Calzaghe bout on Youtube, but it might be an interesting social experiment.

Really looking forward to this one. A win will restore a bit of pride and good feeling. Only wish it was an evening match so I could watch it with a bevvy in hand...

I remember Jermaine Greer on QT saying something along the lines of "All men are potential rapists" and got roundly booed by the audience. Can't seem to find the clip now though.

Men are disproportionately the target of violence in the UK. Instead of the narrative being "How do we stop men attacking women" perhaps it should be "How do we stop people attacking people". Baroness Jones needs to be investigated for her prejudice, and probably removed from her post in the meantime. We all know she won't be though.

Attempting to correct racism by being racist. Fight fire with fire. A sad state of affairs.
