Was a penalty IMO

When Ralph arrived, Prowse made a point of saying "no more Mr Nice guy" and was pretty aggressive for a good while after. Him versus Zaha for example. Obviously something Ralph saw he needed to improve on. He does seem to have lost a little of that aggression this season.

Still time for an Adams goal with an Armstong assist

Yeah, I accept that you could say I am privileged because I grew up in the UK, in a fairly stable household, both my parents stayed together, they both worked hard so we always had the things we needed, they cared about my education, we had friends who would help us if needed, the town we lived in was reasonable. That's what makes me privileged IMO but I don't think a person of different race couldn't also have all of that.

Honestly I found the disabled comparison a little patronising and a deflection. When he gets back on topic he doesn't really explain what 'his' hardship is. If people, other than those who are white, are unfairly treated by police or in school then yes, that needs to be identified and addressed, but I think UK society has done pretty well to keep things as fair and square as is possible. One thing his speech did make me think about is how difficult disabled people still have it. Perhaps we should be devoting more effort in that direction?

What my liver would say if it could speak...

Bednarek off at 85 mins, possibly injury/cramp.

Bednarek punching himself in the face to ready himself lol. Never seen him do that before a Saints game.

France have equalised. Shame. Good game though. Hope Hungary get something from it...

Yep, that's more like what I want to see, but of course you can't have Neil on there every minute of the day. In fairness to Sunak, most of the new builds near me already seem to have eco-heating systems in place, biomass particularly. Although whether they're any good or not...

If bicycles were a recent invention I'm sure they too would be banned from the roads. The car is king. But why allow bicycles and not e-scooters?

I've followed the below website for a while. Only recently have Malta gone ahead of the UK in terms of vaccinations given by %. The tiniest country in the EU, who I understand base their healthcare on the NHS. https://www.politico.eu/article/coronavirus-vaccination-europe-by-the-numbers/

Good by Bale at the end, twice cons defenders into thinking he'll stick to the corner flag and both times skips around them and creates a chance, scoring at the second.

1-1 for direct shots in the knackers

I'm not sure we'll agree about Paisley, although I'm happy to do more reading on him... I doubt Ireland will ever be shot of Catholicism. It does seemed to have had a dip in Catholic membership though, or at least those "identifying" as such in the census, which can be misleading itself (how many of those identifying actually go to church or believe?) For certain, the Church needs to take responsibility for its past wrongdoings there, rather than attempting to cover them up (as Ratzinger tried to). I am atheist. My reading on the subject is more from a historical interest that anything else.

From what I've read and seen, it was his rabble rousing which inflamed tensions and encouraged separatism. A bother to even the Unionists for not being hard enough. A real catalyst. Fair enough if your family had a different view of him, they have first hand experience after all. I also agree that it's easy to take a polarized view. This speech at the beginning of this clip was an interesting one for me. Denouncing the very Catholic religion itself, rubbishing it... https://youtu.be/0zlwLyZwnBg

Rather than trying to fill up so much time with waffle, they'd have been better off having 3 hours per day of decent tv. An hour of it could be Neil with Portillo and Diane Abbott/Alan Johnson plus a guest, like the old days. Then 2 hours of current news report/discussion.

Just a shame it was over the other side. Just a few seconds, but you never know. Heard the crowd roaring at the medics to get a move on...

Denmark player collapsed and getting chest compressions as we speak...

I became like that for a bit. Discovered my Grandfather and family were from County Tyrone having lived in poor conditions, eventually migrating to Glasgow for work. Got me studying the Troubles for a while, how Catholics struggled and the events leading up to it, which can take you back in history as far as Martin Luther and Henry VIII . I nearly applied for an Irish passport. edit: Anyway, three random things I learned from my studies: 1) Our Kings and Queens of the past were often brutal and selfish and I have a new respect for the current set-up and democracy. 2) Ian Paisley was a nasty man. 3) Irish Blood English Heart is an even better song than I thought, now I understand it a little more.

I'm the same to be honest. It's a club-before-country thing.

Just outside the playoffs, where they will hopefully remain...

Yep. A good workhorse and decent set pieces. If they want a defensive midfielder then why not? If...
