    led tv's

I remember having to lift a Sony Trinitron out of the boot of my car and almost giving myself a hernia in the process. edit: I had forgotten about StLandrew. He was alright.
  2. There used to be a saucy pic of Lucy Pinder in a Saints shirt. I have fond memories of it.
  3. This is my view also. Obviously a bit of a punt on him and I hope they've chosen well, but if he turns out to be shite then we're one injury away from a big defensive problem.
  4. Well I just learnt a new word. I agree with your predictions though. I had Saints down as near-certain relegation fodder the minute Ings went, but the way we've played and gone about our business in the last couple of weeks has given me optimism. Keep the injuries at bay and I think we'll do ok.
  5. Always thought he had a look of Osvaldo about him...
  6. (she’ll be coming round the mountain) We've got Tino Livramento on the right, We've got Tino Livramento on the right, We got Tino Livramento in the Summer Transfer window, and he says he wants to play in red and white
  7. Yep pretty good. With our windows there's always the fun of "will the gambles pay off" which can make all the difference. Time will tell but I'm very much more optimistic than I was at the beginning of the season...about the team and about Ralph. What a difference a couple of weeks can make. Looking forward to it now.
  8. Cheers for that MLG
  9. Nice. Another clean sheet for Forster (didn't have to make a save).
  10. Haven't had a goal for a while. Hope we haven't taken the foot off the pedal.
  11. D2 or not. Nice to hear of the goals being banged in.
  12. I remember watching him at the time, in the first team. If I remember rightly, the common view was that he was fast but very raw and lacking ability at the time. He needed serious coaching investment and I agree, it's a shame we didn't hang on to him and do it ourselves. Win some, lose some. We've let go of a few high achievers over the years, but I'm sure all clubs are as guilty if not more so.

    Adam Armstrong

Yeah, against tough opposition too. He fits right in. Hope it continues.

    Adam Armstrong

Yeah, he could, and probably should have scored today. He's getting the ball in all the right places which is half the job. Looks promising. I'm starting to think we've done a pretty good job this transfer window.
  15. Your probably right then. I see he did get a card for something.
  16. Perhaps he's the captain we need....if he is going to be starting games this season.
  17. Ha ha, that photo of Stephens and Fernandez. I thought the ref was going to book him today for mouthing off.
  18. Great result. I thought we would blow it again but we didn't, at least not completely. Feels like a win. We wanted Ralph to react to the game more and make changes when necessary. He did it today. Salisu gave the ball away a couple of times but otherwise was impressive. Looks like we might have got a gem there. Armstrong gets into all the right places and was unlucky not to score. His finish when 1 on 1 with DeHea was disappointing but he generally looks sharp and fits right in. Big confidence boost by the attitude and the result. Onwards and upwards.
  19. Djenepo off please
  20. I'd love to give this a try. I wonder if they've experimented with this in training.
  21. Well that was unexpected. Surely it must go down as Adams' goal. How can they presume it wasn't going to hit the target is beyond me. Anyway, good battling and a bit of luck and we're ahead. Now can we please keep this lead.
  22. Do what I do and store them between the £500 drawer and the £700 drawer.
  23. Or causes a chip pan fire, but continues to stand in front of it, shaking the basket from time to time while the entire house burns down.
  24. Yeah, I saw the vid. As you say, hopefully we and Watford see something in him. Clearly a gamble though.
