Fantastic result overall. We must address the elephant in the room, lack of goals from open play. Early days I know but I'm not sure Big Paul is the answer there, although he was doing a decent job of holding up the ball and is some target man.

One advantage is that he can hit the ground running. He knows the players, knows their strengths. "Ralph with his high pressure all-in mentality..." Thought that was interesting, kind of distanced himself from that strategy. Looking to put his own stamp on the team. Good.

Glad to be reading this news today. If we can take any positives from the situation we are in it is that we still have time. We're not completely adrift, and judging by some recent performances, a few of the players we've signed show potential and can jump right in. I reckon the right manager could get a decent 11 out of what we have that could potentially win games. Whether SR are capable of finding that manager however is yet to be seen. I still think GK is a very weak link for us at the mo and would prefer Caballero in for the rest of the season.
