  1. Ha, I never knew you couldn't score directly from a throw. Odd rule to have really.
  2. Same. But lately, whatever I think pre-match, the opposite seems to happen. 1-1 Salisu long throw, straight in.
  3. We all know how this ends. Broja on for me.

  5. No sound. Best I can get. http://www.hesgoal.tv/watch/epl2.htm
  6. Scroll down and find the game on either of these two sites has been a pretty good bet for me in the past. https://redi1.soccerstreams.net/ http://www.hesgoal.tv/
  7. A win and a clean sheet would be nice. I'm liking this pre-match confidence feeling that's starting to creep in before games.
  8. Will make or break him. Rangers only really have one team to compete against in the league. Villa in the Prem is a different kettle of fish. Personally, I hope he fails and Villa die a death.
  9. When Kid A came out I put it on and was disappointed, didn't listen again for a few weeks. Driving down to Cornwall I gave it another chance. Actually that first track is ok I thought, same for the second. Listened to the lot and it started to sink in. It remains probably my favourite album of theirs and was influential as hell.
  10. I think it's because he has been able to produce excellent football with few resources (compared to most Prem clubs). There have been times when I thought we could beat anybody under Ralph. Real highs and lows. If he wasn't able to give us those highs he'd be gone. Get him consistently delivering and we've got a winner. Glad we stuck with him but, like most, if we lose a few in a row again I'll be here moaning as much as the next man.
  11. Never liked Oasis. Always preferred Blur when they were having that rivalry. I still listen to Coffee and TV from time to time. Used to like a few Happy Mondays tracks but they're all a bit cringey now. Still listen to Belle and Sebastian now and then and Placebo's Black Market Music (drug references all over the shop). Talking of embarrassing, I have the album New Values by Iggy Pop but only ever listen to Bored and the sublime Don't Look Down. Had my ipod on shuffle the other day and got treated to African Man. Bloody hell. Glad I didn't have people round.
  12. I'm behind him. He's built a decent squad now, with limited resources, and we're doing ok. I would say most of our players improve under him and despite what I hear, I think he does react well to squad problems, better defensively now for example . I think he's improving as a manager with his experience of the Prem and the club. Lately we're difficult to play against and create a lot of chances. A force to be reckoned with, start converting more of those chances and who knows.
  13. Agree with this. It was refreshing having Redmond take a few corners recently. Much more unpredictable and not easy to defend against. I think we should be mixing it up more.
  14. Ralph Canarycage.
  15. I will just bellow "YOU BOY!" or "YOU GIRL!" whenever I need assistance like I usually do. I don't have time to get my reading glasses out.
  16. Yeah, didn't really work. Then again, often our throws are a massive bag of pony, long or short. Worth a try.
  17. Utd looked poor today. Unfortunately we don't play them again until Feb otherwise I'd be optimistic. Now, come on Brighton!
  18. League 1 results today: 14th Position Pompey 1-1 against 15th position Cheltenham Town. #lfoundthatlevel
  19. They are the majority of the voting population though. That's a lot of scum. Reminds me of the Morrissey lyric: "We won't vote Conservative, because we never have. Everyone lies, everyone lies." No wonder really. I've never voted Tory but have considered it. There are a lot of tory-type policies and ways of life that I approve of or at least have sympathy with.
  20. Big Soup. Well that's total bullshit. I just checked and it's exactly the same size as all the other soups.
  21. Salisu stressed me out with his back passes to the keeper though. Obviously a top class player there but still a little fine tuning needed.
  22. Goalie caught two or three (he has been decent for them to be fair). Wouldn't mind a few more short ones personally.
  23. Similarly. Usually doesn't bode well the minute I start to feel optimistic. One of these if anyone needs it: http://hockeyweb.site/daily/news/soutthampton5/
  24. I'm will miss the unpredictability of Redmond's corners this evening. You never knew quite where they'd land, and neither did the defence. Broja still managed to get on the end of a fair few.
  25. I agree and I was disappointed with AA not taking his chances (although his last one was on target but blocked I believe). But we know from his record that he knows where the goal is, and he IS getting into shooting positions regularly. Give him another chance tomorrow IMO.
