At Leicester, a similar ground to ours, away fans are in the corner, what would be the Northam/Itchen North corner. That leaves the majority of what would be the Northam for home support. I think it would be better for atmos to push the majority of them up in the corner like this and leaves more space for those who want to sing at home.

He showed some promise going forward once or twice, seemed like a handful. Really poor defending at times though and lacked the sort of effort to get himself back between attacker and the goal after he lost the ball. More coaching needed.

And obviously would have been good to have got the job done at 90 so the team didn't have to suffer another extra time.

It was a poor selection, but in Ralph's defence, he knew he could make 5 subs and had those subs on the bench. Saints did just enough which, for cup games is probably the right strategy. And we got to see a few players we hadn't seen for a while.

Ok, one positive. The short corner was decent (if only Theo could shoot properly). Would like more of those.

Yep, the selection was a mistake. We have the subs to use. Get them on and get at them second half.

With Ralph occasionally choosing 3 at the back currently, I can't see us shipping out a proven, established CB when we aren't exactly deep in that area. Hoping with these new owners that we have the financial flexibility to get someone in first, who will have to prove he deserves the place. Nice position to be in if so.

I'm completely satisfied with the way we are at the moment. The only issue for me was the previous ownership, lacking vision and naive to this market. Now that's sorted I look forward to a few rosy seasons of gentle development and stability with the manager being backed. Decent football, respectable league position, a few giant killings and some decent cup runs.
