The Lord works on mysterious waves.

If it was solely based on the first half of the season I might have even given Puncheon a nomination.

God can wrath as much as he likes for all I care. Nothing will happen.

Spoiled for choice at the moment. I would probably throw Shaw into the mix too, and maybe Boruc. So many to choose from.

Rather than trying to create more space, perhaps we should be marketing to smaller people.

He should be allowed to compete for the Player of the Year award, but if he wins he should be forced to wear a gumshield for the ceremony.

How easy it is to buy an assault rifle legally in the US...
Manuel replied to norwaysaint's topic in The Lounge
Hunting aside, what would the purpose be to owning a gun in the US? For protection I assume. The right to protect yourself, perhaps from an intruder or a car jacker or an attacker in the street. Presumably then, once they introduce a Star Trek style phaser which will stun your target without killing it, allowing you to escape from danger or secure the attacker with handcuffs or whatever, the need for a gun will be removed. I imagine, if serious money was spent on research and development, they could produce one within a year and nobody would need to own a gun again. How about it? -
A tight, fairly even game that either team could snatch a win from. 2-1 Saints: Lallana 36mins. Lambert winner 89 mins, header at the back post. Say no more.

Couldn't agree more. 3-1 Saints.

I am generally in favour of medicine and I am certainly in favour of science and look forward with interest to every technological advance and the good which it can achieve (in this case stem cell research etc). But the chopping up of dead human beings in order to take its organs is a line which I won't say shouldn't be crossed (again, I am in favour of people doing what they want) but wonder if it's rather regressive scientifically. I also wonder if the practice reflects desperation, a desperation to make people well urgently, the focus of which which I can appreciate and have sympathy for, but is not necessarily a great starting point for sensible or well reasoned decisions about our loved ones, their lives and their bodies. Like I say I imagine that it's a practice which will be superseded by other methods in the future.

If you're looking from a results perspective, we can never know for sure. The recent results have been fantastic, but to be honest I thought the team was playing pretty well, and competing, prior to Adkins departure. If you're looking from the perspective of what is fair and right for a club (rather than a business), then I would say 'no'. I don't think it was the correct decision and I think he deserved the opportunity to take things further. He wasn't failing in my eyes. That said I'm not complaining and am loving the way we're playing at the moment, perhaps the best football for a decade.

Champions League place still mathematically possible.

Suggestion of elbow? No I didn't think so either. A shoulder barge for me. Strong defending. Never a penalty.

Leave the waving to the mascots. The manager ain't no puppet.

Worried now.

Worried that Chelsea will seriously step up the pace after half time. Regretfully I'd settle for a draw right now.

About the same. No pay rise for 3 years. Food, petrol, electric, gas more expensive. But, interest rates being so low has encouraged me to invest in a buy-to-let property to rent. Also government budget changes regards PAYE % seem to have worked slightly in our favour. Overall I'd say better off.

Get fuϲked Chelsea and take your Rubles with you.

Norwich City 0-0 Southampton // Post-Match Reaction
Manuel replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
The lack of chances up front is down to the lack of Puncheon, and today Clyne. They are a good right wing partnership, create attacking chances together and Puncheon can shoot! Poor pitch conditions today wouldn't have suited them, perhaps that's why they were left out today but I would like to see both of them back on the pitch from the start against Liverpool. I think we're poorer in the last third without them creating from the right. -
I wouldn't want him managing my team if he's happy to 'take' an amount of points which may not get the team safe. An idiotic statement. Fourth from bottom is the goal, whatever points that may mean and he should be focusing on that. Personally I think Saints will do better than that.

As a sideline I presume. Very nice. It's a very competitive market, cakes, as I expect you've established. Full wedding cakes seem to be quite lucrative if you have the time, but again, very competitive. I only know this as a friend has dabbled in the area (not local to you).

We went one down and I put an "in-play" bet on at 2/1 on us to win the game.

Hoping for a win. Could potentially make three places today! Personally not too bothered about Redknapp and any hype associated with the game, just looking for a good display by Saints and 3 points.
