  1. Proof that we are lacking in depth.

  3. Manages to put his emotion into his solos. Link to solo here or whole song below
  4. You don't need to be outraged to disagree with it in principle and practice. And you can't so easily remove yourself from the responsibility of your government, which is why I ask whether people are happy for torture to be happening in their name.
  5. As per above link.....Drink five bottles of lager and you should not drive for at least 11 hours. That's 11am the morning after if you finish drinking at midnight. Seems a bit OTT to me. 5 bottles of lager is about 3 pints. Not saying you should drive home, but I'd have thought you'd be ok in the morning.
  6. Maybe we should ask ourselves if we'd be happy having these deeds done in our name. Would we vote in favour of them? Would we be happy to carrying them out ourselves?
  7. Like the way plenty of Blackburn supporters actually sat and clapped Le Tiss second goal.
  8. If the US/UK advocates the use of torture for whatever purposes, it lowers itself to the level of the people we are at odds with. Better to take the moral high ground, achieve what you can using other means. Not only would that set an example but must also lessen the likelihood (in the longer run) of terror against us including tit-for-tat beheadings of our citizens. You can always create a scenario where torture seems the only possible lever, but I'm sure with the resources the CIA has at its disposal it can think of other, just as effective options, which don't help to push our countries towards the sort of terror we all want to avoid.
  9. I think the concept is a bit mixed up for me. Individual organisations create food banks by asking for donations from ordinary people or organisations like supermarkets, so it's outside of government control and it isn't paid for by increasing tax which is fine. But then you need referral via Social Services to qualify, so it's back to the government to decide who's worthy. Personally I think I'd leave the government out of it and let anyone come and take what they need, if non-needy people take stuff unfairly then let it sit on their conscience.
  10. Be great to get something from tonight. Not used to us not scoring in a whole game...and we haven't scored 8 for a few weeks now. 1 - 1
  11. It really depends what you're doing with it. I have always enjoyed older, cheap cars, and some of these can still be pretty good. Currently I have an old BMW 318 which cost me a grand, looks shiny enough and hasn't once let me down in two years. But then my mileage is pretty low, if I was commuting distances I would probably have to stump up for something more modern and economical. Personally I would buy what you can afford, it can be just as enjoyable having older motors and if something catastrophic happens engine-wise you can get rid and start again. Economically it nearly always makes sense. Don't be tempted by finance unless you NEED to have something ultra reliable. That's what I'd say.
  12. "Keep up the good work Fraser, still the best goalkeeping record in most of Europe!"
  13. Reasonable... http://www.vipleague.is/football/258580/1/aston-villa-vs-southampton-fc-live-stream-online.html
  14. I can't get it on my pc either though. Any good streams gratefully received......
  15. Agbonglahor would probably have thrived under Saints. Could still even DAJFU?
  16. Maybe the standard is well behind where it could be for women? I don't see much reason (mentally/physically) why football played by women couldn't be far ahead of where it is today. Compare it to the standard of say tennis or athletics where there isn't such a gap. Perhaps with a bit of promotion and publicity, you might start to see more enthusiasm for the sport by kids within schools/sports centres, and progress could follow.
  17. I'm happy to see women's football on the telly because a) I like watching football of any standard, women/kids/whatever so if it's on I'll probably watch it, especially if it takes the place of a soap opera or auction show. b) because it promotes football and sport in general to younger girls. Girls of school age are much more likely to take an interest in sports and start playing if they see women playing it competitively, especially on the telly, and that's good.
  18. Spurs will win this now.
  19. Let the league table speak for itself.

...err of topic, can we get back to the raping now pls.
  21. Well "Fan the Flames" would be in favour, wouldn't he? Maybe we should concentrate more on this firewalking and less on the "conventional" football training and management.
  22. Iteresting to watch Pelle's involvement. He holds up, creates, scores from distances, poaches, has skill, power. A complete striker.
  23. Christmas is complete sh*t.
  24. Last year Villa didn't create much at Villa Pk. We weren't at our best either at that stage of the season and it ended 0-0. We're a better more creative team now than we were then so it's a Saints win for me. 1-0 Saints.
