I agree that most employers could easily afford a much higher minimum wage, perhaps even £10 per hour, which on the face of it sounds good, and I think on the whole it would be. Some employers might not be able to afford that though, so would probably lead to more swallowing up of of smaller companies by big multinationals who can afford it. Also if our minimum wage was significantly higher than elsewhere, it's bound to lead to higher economic immigration, which would have to be considered/managed.

Really good player for us but time and time again has proved a poor finisher. I guess he must practice finishing in training...maybe it's a confidence thing for him right now. I'd still pick him.

Glad that JWP took the pen in the end. Great to see him get his first and great for Pelle to get his is open play........seemed like the whole team were trying to set him up towards the end.

Always was a quality keeper in my opinion. Will do us proud for the rest of the season. I'm glad he's playing for us.

From watching on the telly: Best players today - Pelle, Morgan, Fonte, Toby, Kelvin Did well - Yoshi, Steve D (despite a few errors), Vic, Bertrand Mane and Long ok but not their best. Tadic looked back to good form when he came on, needs to attack the goal occasionally rather than always look to set others up.

Seems to be loads of empty seats, considering I couldn't buy a ticket this morning.

Will be very hard to replace.
