Baird was a solid PL player who played in the F.A cup final. He was then one of our best players for a few seasons in the championship. He can play CB, DM, RM and RB which IMO was his strongest position. He would be an unbelievable signing, the only problem would be whether he can get on with Davis.

I wouldn't have thought he would have wanted it. Great appointment if true as he has been promoted from league 1 and championship and has managed successful teams in the premiership. Also would have won the F.A cup if it wasn't for one of the best cup final goals ever. Delighted if it is him and am really looking forward to Saturday now.
