  1. I read with interest on another thread written by a fan who met JP at Exeter that even Poortvliet is worried Lowe will sell some of our youngsters behind his back. Doesn't sound like a healthy relationship to me.
  2. AS Lowe says in the article "everyone makes mistakes"
  3. Nick take it from me John has been "invited" to find another club. He will be allowed to go for no fee as Rupert just wants him off the wage bill. This has come from (virtually) the horses mouth.
  4. You have a point but one of Lowe's faults last time he did not react until it was too late. The autumn Wigley was in charge loads of fans saw it was not working but Lowe stubbornly failed to see it himself (just a blimp he said). Having a plan B with the slightly unhinged Rupert around is a sensible tactic. If John goes - quite possible - we simply cannot rely on David McG who if you remember Burley farmed out to Port Vale last season and he failed to impress.
  5. Fairly inevitable I guess but for Watford to have more cash to splash than us you realise just how far we have fallen. If John goes (he has been told he can go if a club matches his wages) we will be very lightweight upfront.
  6. I hear the away side have a highly thought of young manager?
  7. Don't often agree with you but I do here. Once Burley "falls out" with a player there's no going back apparently.
  8. If only Lowe could display such magnaminious qualities!
  9. As the originator of the "Wilde and Lowe not there" threads last night I should like to offer an apology to you and all the other posters on this forum who were consequently mislead. My information came from a friend at the match who spoke to some Exeter officials/stewards, who it seems were under the impression neither Chairmen were at the match. If I was Chairmen of Southampton FC I would attend as many matches as humanly possible because I would feel it an honour and indeed a duty. I would like to think yourself and Rupert feel the same. Again, my apologies for any distress caused.
  10. Shame Rupes and Mikey Wilde were not there to celebrate
  11. I really can't understand it - or are there sinister goings on. It is very relevant that our 2 chairmen were not at the game tonight and yet my two previous threads about it have been locked and I have recieved an unpleasant pm from one of the mods. I doubt you will hear from me anymore because I have a feeling I will be banned but I have serious doubts about the integrity of this forum after tonight.
  12. Well Lowe is picking the team so you would think he would watch what he picked.
  13. Err no but I would have done if I was the Chairman
  14. Sorry Adrian I think it is very relevant. If its a too far for our Chairmen then how can we expect the fans and the players to make the trip?
  15. You would have thought one of them could have made the effort.
