The Southern Cross ones, I hear. They are apparently up to their ears in it. Well done Felicity Hindson, she's a top top councillor and a credit to the council.

/\ DiBden P S That last paragraph was not aimed at you, sorry as it does read that way but it was for people who can't see that RL was not out to destroy Saints, he actually loves Saints and whatever he did was (right or wrongly) for all the right reasons. To the point of (perhaps) trying to find a better owner rather than yet more (like himself) who's hearts were in the right place. I wouldn't be surprised if Rupert might have acknowledged his own shortcomings long before it all went kaput and tried to find a better placed and globally experienced owner. Praps?

Anyone reading between the lines with a smidgen of knowledge about DAVOS 2008 may come up with the crazy idea that Mr Lowe may have at the very least exchanged pleasantries with a certain Mr Liebherr ( or one of his very close confidantes) just prior to the fall of the Plc empire. Don't read too much into the above, you just carry on slagging Rupert if it suits your stupid agenda, as long as it keeps you happy, just watch the old BP though.

mutual respect for sure but I want Bournemouth to join us, not just for 6 points but with the price of petrol nowadays it makes more sense. -
Surely it's a career choice with an emphasis on "choice". I am pleased as punch that someone chooses to do this work but I am equally happy that someone cleans the crap from tMy drains and wipes my dear old mum's backside

We have a couple of Muslim neighbours, they live on the Sunni side of the street. fwiw, i hate banks and agree that moneylending is immoral.

Was it not originally the entrance to hunting ground which is now sort of portswood and either side of the current lodge road, which i understood to be named thus due to the hunting lodge in question was at the other end of that road, not far from that big metal sword thing by the lights. a later connection and perhaos more interesting for the real historian's on here would be that of king bevis' land, it would have stretched for miles around perhaps bordered on one side by the water and the other side by the new forest, to the north it may have included any land adjacent to the monksbook. fresh running water was an important thing to be near as was somewhere to dump your crap, the solent is a great place to wash away all your rubbish, straight downtide to portsmouth. hail king bevis.

It's for when you are really angry, it implies that your reply is more important than the remark which one is quoting. i have only ever seen it once before on this site, it's quite tame really.

I note that you didn't edit the bit about scotland yard wanting him. are you in the know?

if the voting panel's remit was to name the one living person who has most contributed to the clubs existence then they got it right. anyone who disagrees does not understand the question. he is still the Gaffer to many of us. If the current regime want to build a bridge then they could do worse than naming a stand after him and tucking a lifetime season ticket in his back pocket as he arrives to cut the ribbon imo. do they really want to build a bridge, that is the question?

i respect this award and belive that it is the fans award in this (touted as) special year for the club, past and present. how can you celebrate a clu existing for 125 years without recognising officially lm's contribution. legend, tonight is his.

Keegan at the potter's heron is right up there with Trevor Francis, just ask any older footie fan, which english club did kk sign for from Hamburg whilst european footballer of the year? Lawrie Mac made that happenand it catapulted us into footballing folklore...oh and didn;t he also mastermind some jolly at wembley a few years ago? the '76 triumph is, for that matter, the reason that Saints will always get a mention when there is a giant killing being discussed, they even made a thing about it when pompey played wales.
